Eiji Yano's voice acting career seems to be all for SNK games -he first voiced Kensou in King of Fighters '94, and would continue to voice him until he was replaced in 2016's KoF XIV. In addition to Kensou, his other KoF voice credits are for Brian Battler, and for the announcer in KoF 2002. In the Art of Fighting series, he provided the voice for Lee in the first two games, and also did the voice for Rody in the third. In the Fatal Fury series, he was the voice for Freeman in Garou: Mark of the Wolves. He has also voiced the main bad guy of the Samurai Shodown series, Amakusa, in several games. Outside of SNK, it seems he has made appearances in show Japanese TV shows, but it looks like he has only played one-off characters.

VA flub:
You know, I don't think they'd do this in Psycho Soldier.
VA comment:
I'm Eiji Yano, voice actor for Sie Kensou. Up until yesterday I've been performing in a play in Ogimachi Museum Square in Osaka, and here I am doing these recordings the very next day. Many fans of Sie Kensou came out to see the play, and I'm very thankful to everyone who shared their thoughts and feelings on the feedback postcards you left. Those of you who came out, I hope you weren't too disappointed. It wasn't a play with a lot of young, energetic characters like Sie Kensou--I'm afraid it was mostly old dudes. My apologies. Thanks for listening!
