In The King of Fighters '96, Athena was voiced by Tamao Sato. Athena had a different voice actresses voice her in KoF '94 and '95, and Tamao Sato would only get to voice her in '96, with it being her only SNK voice role. However she has been in various films and TV series, including playing Momo Maruo in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger (a role she later denounced and apparently had a diva-like attitude about), Sakura Ishikawa in Nasuman ga Yuku and Yoko Kawaguchi in Suicide Circle.
