I own a Playstation TV, which lets you play Vita games on it at 720p quality. The problem is that the PSTV isn't compatible with a lot of Vita games, including several I'd like to do playthroughs of -such as Mortal Kombat, Injustice and Street Fighter X Tekken. So unfortunately I won't be doing too many Vita game playthroughs.

Playthrough with Tager. For those not in the know, this game the sequel to Continuum Shift (see below) and, like the other BlazBlue games, it's easy to get through the arcade mode. Even the bosses aren't annoying for once. Tager's hugely damaging throws can take down opponents really quickly, too. This game never seemed to get released in Europe, not even in the PSN store. The PS3 version got a digital release here, but I couldn't find the Vita version anywhere. So I purchased a physical American version via ebay. |

Playthrough of story mode with Ky. Story mode features different paths for each character, and sometimes you get to make a choice which will effect who you will fight next. With Ky though his main decider is if he finishes Dizzy with an instant kill or not. I might try and go for that when I do a playthrough of the PC version as it's kind of tricky to hit Dizzy with it, she tends to jump over or block it whenever you try and do it. And you've only got the one chance to do it as well, which sucks. Form what I can tell, the Vita version of this game was never released in Europe, so I went with the Japanese version instead. Which, rather nicely, has an English language option in it. The game did get released in the USA as well. |

What can I say about Killzone? Not a lot, as this is the only game in the series I've played so far. And even then, I only got this because it came bundled with a Vita console I bought. This Vita Killzone game is technically impressive, but it's nothing special gameplay wise. To get through the game, make good use of the store where you can buy weapons, some of the special weapons are critical to taking out the larger enemies. |

Playthrough with Ryu, Deadpool and Sentinel. The Vita version of this game has great looking character models, but the backgrounds are mostly devoid of any animation. It isn't that noticeable due to the amount of stuff happening on the screen at any given time, but if you've played the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions you'll tell straight away. As for the game, it's quite easy to get to the end, and only the boss provides a bit of a challenge. |
