Subject: Jade's fur blanket....thing.

Was Jade wrapped in a fur blanket during her scene in Mortal Kombat Annihilation? Are there any pictures of it?

Angie Yazdani

Yes she was, and I'd imagine that there most likely are pictures of it.

Subject: Rebel Strike (Battle of Endor)

Hey I really liked your Rebel Strike! Quick question though. On the battle of Endor how did you access the Jedi Starfigher to use in the mission? I found a cheat code to unlock the ship but the mission only lets you use the X-wing/ A-wing making it increasing tough for us to beat. Get back to me if you can, thanks! -Celtic Wind

Hi, you have to beat the mission with the default ships first, after you have done that, you can replay it with any ship you have unlocked. Hope that helps! Try using the infinite lives code if you are struggling with the X and A wings.

Subject: Hokuto no Ken

Hello. I just wanted to let you know how great I think your Hokuto No Ken database is. I just started watching the original series on HuluPlus, and have gotten as far as the beginning of part 2. So far its an excellent series. I intend on watching the entire series. And I've been using your database as a guide to make sure I am watching the episodes in their correct order.

I was one of those who saw the 1986 animated movie first before anything. And I loved it. I found out years later that it was based off an anime series, but I had no access to them. This was around 1995 or so. When the VHS tapes started releasing, I bought a few of the first series, but never bought any after that. Then time went on, and I just forgot about it, until recently when a friend told me that I can watch the series on HuluPlus now. Which is what I've been doing for the past few weeks. I really love this anime.

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Oh, and I was wondering. What, in your opinion, is the best site on the net right now for everything Hokuto No Ken??

Thanks,
John

Hi, thanks! As far as good sites go I would check out the Hokuto Renkitōza, I think it is one of the best sites for the series:
http://hokuto.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

I have a few other sites on my links page:
http://rq87.flyingomelette.com/HNK/l.html

But there aren't really that many big sites for Hokuto no Ken, at least for English speakers/readers. Anyway, keep watching, part 2 has a lot of great episodes & new characters!

Subject: Final Fight Site

Hi there, I came across your Final Fight website today and I just wanted to say what a great site it is! I'm a huge Final Fight fan and there is so much great information here, you've put a lot of work into it. Here's hoping we keep getting new FF games and content and that you're able to keep the site up for a long time to come.

-James

P.S. -- The music section is easily the best resource on here, you have even the most obscure tracks!

Hi, thanks! I hope we get a new Final Fight at some point, although the memories of Streetwise are probably still too recent for Capcom. Personally I'd like to see them to a true HD version of the original, and if that makes them enough money, hopefully they could get around to doing a new sequel.

Thanks again

Subject: unknown japanese Fist of the Northstar game

I listed this game on ebay that I can not find anything about:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/161034676373?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Doing research I happened across your fan page and linked my ebay posting to your site. I hope you do not mind. I am unsure about the title as it is japanese. I played it once a long time ago and it was ok but really old! Any insight?

Also, you are fucking hilarious! I did not know about "rage quitting" although have done so a billion times vs my ppl in MvC3 and other fighters. The one about Brye or wtf his name is made my pants wet with pee!

Thanks for any info!

Gamertag: JUST SHUTUP444
Thanks for the funny ass videos, I highly regard your gameplay and would love to ragequit against you some time!

Hi, thanks for the e-mail. Glad you like the vids! I've had a look at your auction and it looks like it isn't a Fist of the North Star game, but it's the Japanese version of Kung-Fu Master, which is called Spartan X:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/gameboy/585782-kung-fu-master/images/box-3266

The box art has the same title as your game, plus the guy on the cover is also on your cartridge. I hope this helps!

Subject: Fellow Fist Fan

Hey

Just wanted to let you know that I stumbled upon your Hokuto no Ken site last night and looked through literally the whole thing. It took up my whole night. Been a fan of the show since 1999, and it's always kinda been MY show to me, since not many people seem to be into it. But you, sir, have absolutely humbled me in Fist knowledge. How did you manage to notice such minor details like that? I learned a lot more than I thought I would.

Hi, thanks very much for the message! Oddly I do not get many e-mails about the Hokuto site. Having to go through each episode in such detail was the only way I picked up some minor details I probably wouldn't have noticed if I was just watching the episodes normally. It took a long time to get everything together to where it is now, but I'd say it was worth it. Have you see the new DD Hokuto no Ken anime which has started? I've yet to watch a full episode but perhaps one day I'll do something about it for the site.

Subject: Punisher unused sprites

Hi there, I've stumbled into your site, pretty cool stuff. The section about game prototypes was fascinating to me. It reminded me that I have poked around the sprites of various arcade games, back in the Callus emulator days. Me and my brother used to extract the sprite sets, assemble them and make animated gifs (well, actually it was the .ani format I think, using some old program in DOS).

Anyway, it reminded me of a piece of unused graphics in The Punisher, namely a black and white photo of what appears to be a man (possibly even dead) carried by policemen. I tried looking for some info on the web but found nothing. And it's pretty interesting because I don't remember seeing this screen in the game nor it being mentioned anywhere. I've attached a bmp of the image.

I was just wondering if you know something about this, or just add it to your website if you think it's interesting.

Cheers.

Hi, thanks for the e-mail. The photo you found is actually used in the game, but only in the Japanese version -it appears in the ending sequence. I guess Capcom of America must have found it to be too much, and removed it. Here's a link showing it used in-game:

Thanks again,

There's another set of unused sprites in Cadillacs and dinosaurs,it's a small dinosaur,it has few animation frames so my guess is that he was meant to be a background dino just like the babies on the second stage,i have a sheet of it,do you want it??

Hi, please send them to me, I haven't seen these before. I'll add them to the site and credit you. Thanks
