Different titles and title screens. The Japanese version translates as "Legend of Dracula II".

The hidden sound test option gives each track a title in the Japanese version, but for the American version they were given generic names, such as BGM 1, BOSS 3, DEMO 2 etc. The version of the game included on the European exclusive Konami GB Collection Vol. 4 would revert this change.

Japanese	American
The Japanese version features the cross subweapon. The American version replaces this with the battle axe. Again, in the Konami GB Collection Vol. 4 version of the game, this change was reverted.
