These storyboards can be seen in full at the Sunbow and Marvel Productions Script/Storyboard Archive.

The storyboards are missing this establishing shot of Unicron.

The storyboard for this shot wanted Cybertron to be seen in the background, but in the movie, Cybertron isn't there. The storyboards also don't have the Matrix attached to a chain for any of these shots, but in the movie, there is one.

Another case of Cybertron going missing.

These storyboards note that Unicron was meant to laugh during this shot, but in the movie, he's heard roaring.

This shot was cut. It was meant to be seen after Galvatron falls backwards.

These shots -which were meant to be seen before this shot -were all cut, although the shot of Galvatron falling down into Unicron is seen in the promotional trailer.

According to this storyboard, Unicron was meant to have fingernails. He hasn't got these in the movie.

The objects mentioned on this storyboard were changed for what they look like in the movie.

This sequence was cut, and replaced with this shot of Galvatron watching Unicron's chest lights open up, and this shot of Unicron's head appearing.

These shots were cut. Unicron's line is still heard in the movie, though.

The shot on the left was cut. The shot on the right is in the movie, but I want to mention it because it's the only storyboard of Shockwave for this scene. An earlier script has Shockwave die here, with Unicron ripping up the building Shockwave is in, and crushing it. Storyboards showing Unicron crushing a building are seen (see below), but Shockwave is not seen or mentioned in any of them.

These shots were cut. They meant to be seen after the generic Decepticons are seen running around.

These shots were cut.

For this shot, the storyboard action states that Unicron sucks in the "armada of fighters". It does not specifically state to show Ramjet, Dirge and Thrust, which is what's seen in the movie. This was a mistake, since their toys were still on sale and they all appear in episode of the show's third season.

In the movie, Unicron is seen destroying Galvatron's ship. This is not mentioned on the storyboards.

In the movie, the angle of this shot was changed. The storyboard also mentions that Unicron is meant to be specifically lurching over the Decepticon headquarters. In the movie, he appears to be attacking a random part of Cybertron.

These shots were cut. This was potentially the part where Shockwave was meant to die.

The storyboards have Unicron consume Galvatron before the Autobots and Junkions show up. In the movie, these sequences are the other way around.

This shot is not seen in the movie. It was replaced with this shot.

These shots were cut. They were meant to be seen after Hot Rod says "that's what we're gonna find out".

The movie changed this shot so the ships are further away from Unicron. If, like me, you've ever wondered what those orange lights are seen during this shot, they're the Dinobots.

The shot on the right is in the movie -but it's not used here. It was used earlier on (see above).

These shots were cut. After the above, the storyboards have Galvatron open fire on Unicron, distracting him. In the movie, this happens earlier.

This was cut. It was meant to be seen after the Junkions say "or your money back!".

The left shot was cut. The shot of the Quintesson ship flying towards the camera is in the movie, but is used a little later (see below).

The storyboards wanted Unicron to fire a laser from his eye for this shot. In the movie, he uses his fire breath instead.

These shots were cut, and replaced with a shot of the Quintesson ship spinning towards the camera -which was storyboarded to be used earlier (see above).

According to this storyboard, Unicron was meant to scream in pain. He's not heard screaming in the movie.

In the movie, before the above shot of Unicron is seen, there is this shot of the Autobots falling out of the ship. This shot was not originally meant to be here, as the storyboards for it are seen in the next sequence.
