There are two scripts available for this episode, and they can both be read at the Sunbow and Marvel Productions Script/Storyboard Archive. The original script was written by Douglas Booth on 3/8/85. There is then also a revised script, with dialogue updates from Ron Friedman which was done on 3/13/85.

In the finished episode, a lot of the time the revised script's updates were ignored, and the original script's dialogue was used. Occasionally a few revised script's lines were used, and sometimes further edited lines were used which aren't present in either available script.
