"Move over Art of Fighting, we have a new winner for worst video game anime ever." -My first thoughts after seeing Street Fighter Alpha Generations. The thing that hits you immediately with this movie are the awful character designs, with everyone looking incredibly ugly. Ryu and Gouki often look really fat in fight scenes too, for whatever reason. The animation isn't particularly good either, and looks very rushed in certain fight scenes.

The English dub is also lacking, whilst several of the voice actors have had a lot of previous roles, most of them just sound like slow paced robots in this, and some of the dialogue is downright awful. There was a lack of effort in other areas as well, as a couple of times whilst watching the English dub I noticed character's mouths opens and close, but no words were coming out. I also dislike Ken's completely pointless appearance, and what was going on with the dark hadou spirits? I do at least like that this movie showed some back story with Goutetsu, Gouken and Gouki, but it certainly isn't enough to make me recommend it. I'm not a huge fan of the first Alpha movie, but it's far better than this.
