The Cybertrons are trying to find the Destrons, who just seem to have vanished. But Battleship Maximus' radar is not picking up any signs of them. Hardhead thinks they will have built a powerful weapon with the G-Metal, but Highbrow tells him not to say things like that in front of Fortress.

Meanwhile, the Destrons are not even on planet Master. They are instead moving away from the planet. Skullcruncher cries in alarm that they are heading towards something called "Space Dust". Weirdwolf and Mindwipe joke around with him -doesn't he know what space dust is? Mindwipe explains that it is alien debris in space.

"Huh?!"

Slugslinger tells Weirdwolf to go easy on Skullcruncher, so Weirdwolf stops messing around. MegaZarak comes to a stop in the space dust, as it will prevent the Cybertrons from finding them on radar. Scorponok says they will try and make the Cybertrons believe that they have left Master, but he doesn't want to leave his new shield behind. He decides that they will go back now.

Back on Battleship Maximus, Blanker says he finds it hard to believe the Destrons have headed into space. He, Sureshot and Crosshairs think there is a Destron base somewhere on Master, and they go off to ask Fortress for permission to go and search for it. Soundblaster hears them and doesn't want them doing things like that, so he sends Ratbat out to eavesdrop. Fortress says that he doesn't think the Destrons have a base on Master, as they have not had enough time to construct one since they arrived on the planet. Sureshot still thinks they have some kind of hideout though. And the G-Metal they want can only be found on Master, so they must be on the planet somewhere.

The Cybertrons then notice Ratbat, who flies off and reunited with Soundblaster. Soundblaster wastes no time in jumping off the ship, and heads towards the planet. The three Cybertron Targetmasters jump off after him.

Chromedome is about to follow them also, but Fortress stops him and says they have another job to do. Later on Daniel and Wheelie see the Headmasters working on something. Fortress says that the Destrons will need to generate an amount of energy that matches the Master Sword's power if they are to make a weapon powerful enough to counter it. Knowing what the energy readings are, they intend to find the Destrons by monitoring any large energy surges and then heading towards them. They intend to do this by hooking up the machine Chromedome and the others are working on directly to the Master Sword.

Blanker, Sureshot and Crosshairs land on Master and have a quick look around, but don't get very far as the Destron Targetmasters appear and open fire on them. A battle begins...

...but the Destrons shoot at a mountain, which releases a lot of water and washes the Cybertrons away. Thinking they have finally beaten their Cybertron counterparts, the Destron Targetmasters retreat to their hidden underground base. Inside the base, MegaZarak's shield is being upgraded with the G-Metal.

Soundblaster had tipped the Destron Targetmasters off, and Weirdwolf learns from him what happened. As the Destron Targetmasters walk off, Mindwipe and Skullcruncher talk to them and say that they have a lot to learn from them. Weirdwolf thinks they are talking nonsense, but he needs to prove himself by dealing with the Cybertron Headmasters. Sixshot and Scorponok appear, and whilst it is good there are three less Cybertrons to deal with, Sixshot warns that Fortress will just become suspicious and will come looking for them. Sixshot has a plan to distract the Cybertrons, whilst Scorponok tells everyone not to let the Cybertron near the Zarak shield.

Outside, the Cybertron Targetmasters haven't died, and climb out onto dry land. They are angry with themselves for letting the Destron Targetmaster beat them, but decide to continue their search for the enemy base. But as they fly through a cave, they see Sixshot leading a squad consisting of the Destron Headmasters, Horrortrons and Bruticus. They wonder if they are heading to their base, or if they have just left their base. Either way it must be somewhere nearby. Blanker decides to contact Fortress.

On Battleship Maximus, the Cybertron Headmasters are getting concerned over where Blanker and the others have gone. Chromedome thinks that they may have been killed, but Fortress reminds him that they are far more experienced than them. Blanker then reports in, and says where they are. Fortress says they are heading in their direction, so Blanker tells him that he and his team will further scout the area. Meanwhile, Sixshot's squad is still flying around. Weirdwolf can't believe they think they'll beat the Cybertrons with tactics like this, but Sixshot says that they have to do what they have to do to buy Scorponok some time, as the Zarak shield is not quite complete yet.

They then see Fortress' ship, so they change direction. The Cybertrons see this and wonder what they are doing, and Fortress decides to follow them. But as the Destrons just fly around wildly, Fortress thinks it must be a diversionary tactic. He thinks that the area Blanker is in now is more interesting that this, so they change course.

Highbrow runs in and says he has created a portable energy detector. Outside, Weirdwolf is really fed up with what the Destrons are doing, but he then sees that the Cybertrons have stopped following them. He goes off after them, whilst the other Destrons do not. Meanwhile, Blanker's team come across some large footprints, which only a Transformer could have made. They follow them and come across the entrance to a cave.

Meanwhile, the other Cybertrons detect large energy readings -the Destrons must be creating their new weapon! Highbrow gets out his portable energy detector as he and the other Cybertron Headmasters leave the ship and head towards a crater.

Weirdwolf sees them leave, and flies up to Battleship Maximus. He sets up a couple of bombs on the ship and then flies up to another part of it. He then starts tapping on some metal, making a noise which Daniel and Wheelie happen to hear. He wants to be found, so he can distract attention from the bombs he has just set. Daniel starts shooting at him, and he fires back.

Fortress appears and tells Daniel and Wheelie to head inside whilst he shoots at Weirdwolf. But after taking a few shots at each other, Weirdwolf retreats. Hiding behind a cliff, Weirdwolf says he has left a surprise -his bombs are going to explode soon.

Meanwhile, the Cybertron Headmasters are exploring the crater. Highbrow's energy reading device picks up that these energy bursts are coming from underneath them...and then the ground falls away. All four of them end up falling down and landing on top of each other. They find that they are a short distance from the Destron base...

...but they don't know that the Cybertron Targetmasters are just a bit further ahead of them. Blanker and the others have found out that the Destrons are down here and want to get inside the complex to see what they are doing, but due to their sizes trying to sneak up there would be impossible. But their Targetmaster partners suggest going as they are smaller, and Blanker lets them. They fly up and head inside the base.

Meanwhile, the Cybertron Headmasters move in, and decide they will destroy MegaZarak. They run forwards with no tactics at all, and are surrounded by the Destron Targetmasters. Slugslinger blasts Hardhead.

The Cybertron Targetmasters see what has happened, and Blanker sees that Chromedome has acted rashly yet again. Without their weapons, the three of them jump kick their Destron counterparts, but this doesn't stop them. Soon Slugslinger, Misfire and Triggerhappy are firing on all of the Cybertrons.

The Cybertrons take cover, but the Destron Targetmaster's powerful weapons mean that the cover is blown up fairly easily. Scorponok runs out to see what is going on, and says that the Cybertron just would have to attack at this crucial moment. He has the Two-in-Ones sent out to help in the battle.

The Cybertron Targetmasters get their weapons back, as their smaller robot partners leave the base. This makes their odds better, but Scorponok is concerned that his new shield will be destroyed before it is completed. He heads inside MegaZarak, and collects the shield. He then tells the Destrons to withdraw, and MegaZarak smashes through the ceiling.

Fortress sees him and has a couple of his ship's cannons open fire, but Weirdwolf's bombs then go off.

The Destrons escape, and the Cybertrons head to Battleship Maximus. Fortress tells them he is alright, but he thinks about what the Destrons could be doing. Back on MegaZarak, Scorponok watches as the shield is finally completed. He starts to laugh as he knows that he'll be able to finally destroy all of the Cybertrons soon.

NOTES

Regarding Skullcruncher's aliens/space dust confusion: the Japanese words for aliens and space dust are homophones, with just one character being different in either word. This joke does not translate that well into English, really.
