PIRATE PLANET

POUNCE & WINGSPAN

(DESTRON CLONETRON)

Pounce and Wingspan are on the Pirate Planet. They have a mission: to retrieve the other half of the skull key before Galvatron gets here. They currently only have one half of it -and they know who has the other. Two more robots then show up.

FASTLANE & CLOUDRAKER

(CYBERTRON CLONEBOT)

The Clonebots have been waiting for the Clonetrons to show up. The Clonebots have the other half of the skull key. Pounce and Wingspan tell them to hand it over right away, unless they want to end up as scrap. Fastlane and Cloudraker say they are the ones who are going to be scrapped.

The Clonetrons and Clonebots transform -Pounce becomes a puma, Wingspan becomes a eagle, Fastlane becomes a dragster and Cloudraker becomes a jet. They all start to fight, but things seem to be going in the Clonebot's favor...

...until Sixshot shows up. After knocking Fastlane out of the way, he transforms into cannon mode and blasts Cloudraker. With the Clonebots being no match for Sixshot they transform and retreat. The Clonetrons are about to go after them when Galvatron appears and tells them to wait.

He finds out they haven't found where the secret store of energy hidden on the planet is. They explain that they still need the other half of they key. Galvatron takes their half and tells them to go after the Clonebots. Later on, Fastlane and Cloudraker see MegaZarak in city mode, and report it to Fortress. Battleship Maximus is soon on the way to the planet as quickly as possible.

Daniel asks Highbrow if real pirates are on that planet, and Highbrow says that he isn't sure. But there used to be a gang of space pirates who invaded planets and took energy from them, just like what the Destrons are doing now. The other Cybertron Headmasters talk about the Destrons -they've attacked 13 planets so far, and have managed to take energy from half of them. This means they have a lot of energy stored, and they wonder what Galvatron intends to do with it all. They also want to get into a fight with the Destrons, and think how easier things would be if they knew MegaZarak's weak spot. Highbrow says he's still working on it and the code he's got is difficult to use. Chromedome says this time they'll do some serious damage to the Destrons. They then see they have approached something...

SPACE GRAVEYARD

Highbrow explains to Daniel that this is a dangerous place to be in as it contains all the wreckage of old or destroyed spaceships, some of which are so large they have a gravitational pull which can destroy unwary travelers. Daniel points out what appears to be a sailing ship, which Highbrow zooms in for a closer look at. It is a "Space Pirate Ship" -the ship has rocket boosters and solar sails which collect sun energy. They also notice a skull on the front, and a computer picks up a signal emitting from it, but Highbrow keeps this to himself. The Cybertrons then land on Pirate.

The Clonebots are heading towards Fortress, but the Clonetrons and the Horrortrons intercept them and another battle begins. The Clonebots are outnumbered and they end up being blasted. Apeface rams right into Cloudraker, who ends up dropping his key. The Destrons get a hold of it and head back to MegaZarak before the Clonebots can stop them.

The Clonetrons give Galvatron the other half of the key piece. Galvatron puts the two halves together and the top of the key starts to glow, and then reveals a map. Galvatron reckons that the location of the energy plundered by the space pirates must be what this map is showing, so they head out towards it.

With their piece of the key lost to the Destrons, the Clonebots meet up with the other Cybertrons who've recently landed on the planet. They explain about the key and that when the two pieces are placed together, it reveals the location of the proton energy that the pirates hid years a go. It's also revealed that this proton energy is a strong as plasma energy, making it very deadly if it got into the hands of the Destrons. Chromedome then asks the Fastlane and Cloudraker what their story is, as they were once friends with the Clonetrons. The two explain that that used to be the case...it was Galvatron that caused the rift between them...

Many years a go, before the Clonebots had joined the Cybertrons and the Clonetrons had joined the Destrons, the clones were friends. Wanting to develop their skill and become stronger, they all decided to split up and explore the universe. Fastlane and Cloudraker ended up getting the two halves of the skull when they were on a certain planet. They realised this skull held the secret in the location of the proton energy. A short time later, the two of them met Pounce and Wingspan again.

However, something had changed -Pounce and Wingspan attacked them! They managed to take one half of the skull key, and said they were now Destrons. They had come under the influence of Galvatron on their travels.

Back in the present, the Clonebots say that they can't let the Destrons get the proton energy. Twincast then reports in saying that Spacepunch has told him where the proton energy is supposed to be and that Galvatron and the other Decepticons are heading there right now. The Cybertron Headmasters transform and roll out.

The Destrons arrive at the place first and Galvatron says that according to the map, there should be a large pyramid somewhere around here. Before they can start to look for it though the Cybertrons launch a surprise attack, and Chromedome does a flying kick to Galvatron with such force that he drops the skull key. The Destrons fly away whilst Chromedome collects the key.

Highbrow does a few readings on the key and leaves the other Cybertrons to do a quick search of the area. He comes across a small skull in the sand, which has a place for the key to fit. He places the skull key into the skull...

...and out of the ground comes a large pyramid. He goes towards it and sees a door, but it will not open. The only clue is a headless statue next to the door, which has a picture of a pirate ship above it. Twincast is about to come over to him but stops...

...as the Destrons have returned! Galvatron opens fire and blasts Highbrow out of the way. He and the Destron Headmasters go up to the door, but they don't know how to open it. Galvatron decides that there must be a switch or something that opens it and orders the other Destrons to go and look for it.

As they do that, none of them see Twincast drag Highbrow away. He takes him back to Battleship Maximus, and Highbrow is soon revived -and he thinks he knows how to get that door open. Meanwhile, Galvatron gets MegaZarak to start pounding on the door.

The other Cybertron Headmasters watch as even MegaZarak's great strength is not enough to break down the door. Meanwhile, Shouki and Yukikaze leave Battleship Maximus, taking Highbrow and Daniel with them. Soundblaster sees them leave and decides to follow them. Inside the Trainbots, Highbrow takes a look at Daniel's gun. Daniel says it is just a toy he wanted to show off with, but Highbrow secretly switches the ammo clips without telling him.

The Cybertrons arrive at the graveyard. Daniel checks out the pirate ship, whilst Highbrow has Shouki and Yukikaze remove the skull from the front of the ship. They manage to take it off, but before they can do anything else, Soundblaster appears and tells them not to move. He wants Highbrow to tell him what this

Daniel has snuck around to the opposite side of where Soundblaster is. Highbrow sees him and whispers to Daniel, telling him to shoot Soundblaster with his toy laser gun, explaining that on the way here he swapped the ammo cartridge for a real one. Daniel jumps out and nails Soundblaster right in the chest. With him out of the way for the moment, the Cybertrons return to the planet.

Galvatron is getting frustrated with the door, but then Fortress and the Cybertrons make a surprise attack. Highbrow leaps out of Battleship Maximus, and Galvatron sees that he is holding another skull.

He thinks that the skull could be the key to opening the pyramid's door, and starts shooting at him. However, the other Trainbots fly out of Battleship Maximus, and unite with Shouki and Yukikaze to become Raiden, who keeps Galvatron back. Highbrow and Daniel enter the pyramid, and place the skull on the headless statue. This causes a reaction...

...which opens the door. The Clonetrons get pas Raiden and enter the pyramid, but before they can shoot Highbrow, they both get shot in the back.

The Clonebots have appeared and check their friends are alright. Outside, MegaZarak is shooting at Maximus, but then transforms to robot mode.

Fortress transforms into Fortress Maximus, and starts to fight with MegaZarak. Things look even sided, but then the Cybertron Headmasters swap heads and distract MegaZarak by shooting at him. This gives Fortress Maximus the advantage, and after hitting MegaZarak a few times...

...he slices his chest with the Master Sword, causing him to lose a lot of energy. Galvatron tells him to pull out now, as he and all of the other Destrons leave the planet. Later on, the Cybertrons have gone inside the pyramid, where Highbrow surprises everyone by saying that they is no proton energy here.

He points out a message left by the space pirates -which states that they plundered the cosmos for proton energy, and have stored it on this planet. But if any mistake is made in handling this energy, then the one who handled it will be unable to control it, and will be destroyed. Only a swift demise awaits those who misuse the energy. Given that the planet has become a barren wasteland, it seems that someone tried to take the energy before they or the Destrons got here, perhaps a long time a go, and failed. As their ship leaves, the Cybertrons are glad that the Destrons did not get their hands on the proton energy.

The Clonebots are saddened at the Clonetron's betrayal, but Daniel tells them to cheer up as they have new friends now. They say he is right, and they will help fight the Destrons. Twincast says that the Destrons are now heading back to Jaar -so the Cybertrons start to follow them once more. The real war is about to begin.
