This level starts off in a temple. Run to the right and you'll encounter a new type of enemy, one of the most annoying in the game: bats. These bats will fly in to you and then basically stick to you until you either kill them or dash away. They're very weak and thankfully aren't that bad in this level, but they'll be back with a vengeance later on in the game. Anyway, head right and up some steps, then go all the way to the left and head up some more steps. There are a few bats along the way to take care of, then head up the next set of steps and head to the right. You'll see some statues here...
...which will come to life and attack you. They act like the bats, trying to crash into you repeatedly until you kill them. Whilst they're slower than the bats, they have a lot more health, so use the wind cutter spell to take them out quickly. When you move up to the next floor, head left and you'll have to deal with even more of the statue creatures. Once you reach the end of that floor, you can move up and then head to the right, going up and down some steps.
You'll then be outside. You won't be able to go any further right, so drop down a couple of floors to encounter a plant monster which is blocking access to the basement. This monster can fire projectiles at you, and its only weak point is its head. Try using the wind cutter spell a few times here to kill it quickly. An alternate option is to stay on the platforms above the monster, then use the water current spell on it for an easy kill. After you destroyed it, head down and move right. You'll see a few small statues here, which will release bats. Destroy the statues as quickly as possible to stop yourself from being overwhelmed with enemies.
Once you've cleared the statues, head right and move up some steps. There are a few small platforms above you, use these to leap upwards until you reach solid ground. Move left, then jump up and move right. There are more statues to take out here, once they've been dealt with keep going right and you'll arrive outside again. There are no enemies or obstacles here, so keep going right.
You'll then arrive at another part of the temple, but the entrance is filled with bats. Try luring some of them outside, otherwise try using the wind cutter spell a few times to kill them in groups. Head right, go down some steps and then head left to find the next magic spell: the explosion spell. Collect this, then head down the corridor, drop down and head all the way to the right.
You will then have to go down some steps, and go left. Along this path are a couple of plant monsters, try using your newly-gained explosion spell on the heads of these creatures to destroy them quickly. Once they've been beaten, head left, drop down some more steps and then head all the way to the right, where you can enter a room which contains the boss. The boss of this level is a bubble monster.
This boss is fairly easy to beat, but there's a catch. Throughout the battle, the monster will release bubbles which trap Annet's boomerangs. You can get the boomerangs back by destroying the bubbles with a magic spell, the wind cutter spell is the best one to use here. The bubbles can hurt you, but they don't do much damage. Keep throwing boomerangs at the boss and then taking out the bubble projectiles with a spell when there are lots on the screen (of they've trapped all of the boomerangs) and the monster will soon receive an explosive death.
