Annet will arrive in a speakeasy which is filled with more pistol wielding gangsters. There is also a new enemy here: some fat guy who throws items at you. If you get hit by these objects you can get pushed right back, so jump over them and keep throwing out boomerangs. Once you've beaten the first fatty, there are a load of barrels guarded by some gangsters. You'll also come across some barrels with the letters "EL" on them, if you destroy these they'll cause a large explosion which won't hurt you, but will take out nearby enemies.

You'll then come across some more barrels, but when you get close, a new type of enemy appears: pirates! These guys will leap around the screen and throw a knife at you when they land, and due to their small size and speed they can be hard to hit. Thankfully they only take one hit to defeat. Keep going right, and you'll eventually get to a wall. You can use the ledges to jump up it, and then you'll have to drop down several long platforms, taking out gangsters as you go. You can use the barrels dotted around here to help you out.

When you reach the bottom, head right to encounter several fat guys. Before you fight them, you'll see a few platforms above you. Head up these to find some more platforms along with a few explosive barrels. Move into these barrels to move them around and try to get them to drop down below, and then head back down. Use the barrels to kill the fat guys quickly and make this section much easier.

Once the bad guys have been beaten, jump over some boxes and head right to reveal a secret passage. Drop down it and head left to enter the next part of the level: the sewers. The first enemies you'll see are some blobs of slime that will drop out of pipes. They will move across the ground and can jump around, able to attach themselves to platforms. They're thankfully very weak and easy to kill though. Go right and watch out for the rats -these move in packs and are really fast, plus they'll keep spawning over and over again. Jump out of their way to avoid them, as if you get caught they can push you right back.

When you get past the first batch of rats you can jump up onto a platform. If you go further to the right, you won't be able to make any more progress. Instead, you need to jump up where you can see part of a ladder, and you'll get off the screen. Keep moving right until you come to a gap that you can fall down. There are some new enemies around this part: fish. These will leap out of the water and fire a small projectile at you, but one boomerang is all it takes to kill them. Keep going right to enter a small maze.

Stay close to the top until you can't go any further right because of a wall. There are a few rats and fish here, you need to quickly kill them and then drop down and take the right passage which doesn't have a wall. Keep going right to find some random platforms and jump upwards. You'll then reach a part where rats keep spawning and you'll have to use the dash to quickly outrun them and get out of there.

You'll then reach a wall you can't jump over. To get over it, you'll have to use the fish as platforms to gain some extra height, then jump across. The fish will keep spawning so you'll have all the chances you need to make the jump. Once you've gotten over this wall, head right and you'll see a hole. Run to this and you'll automatically enter the next part of the level.

Once you land, you need to work your way up. There are some new enemies in this cave, the first being some strange cavemen who throw things at you, and take a few hits to kill. There are also some worm enemies, which move quickly but don't pose much of a threat if you take them out at long range. Keep heading up and take out the bricks you see with boomerangs.

Once you've got to the top, head right and run across some more bricks. If you need some HP, let the caveman destroy some of the bricks, then drop down to find a medicine jar. Jump back up and head right, where you'll have to destroy some more bricks until you can get through and drop down. You now need to go to the left.

When you can, drop down and you'll be attacked by two water serpents. These creatures fire a projectile from their mouths, that does quite a bit of damage if it hits Annet. Their only weak point is their heads, and you can actually stand on these enemies without taking any damage, making it difficult for them to hit you. You'll have to fight two at the same time, once these two have been defeated, another one will appear. Defeat this one and Annet will receive a new magic spell: the water current!

Once you've got this spell, go right and you'll see some fires. The only way you can put these out is by repeatedly using the water current spell, once they've been put out you'll be able to move on. You'll then arrive at the boss of this level, which is a blue square of jelly with some green things in it and an orange thing in it.

The weak points of this boss are the green and orange objects, you must destroy all of these. However the blue jelly acts as a shield. You must use the boomerangs to damage the jelly, knocking back parts of it, which will expose the things you really need to hit as they float around. After a few seconds the jelly will reset itself, expanding outwards, so you'll need to jump around. Whilst this is happening, the objects will constantly be firing slow moving projectiles at you, which thankfully don't do much damage. Keep using the water current magic as it can do quite a bit of damage (the ovals tend to move across the bottom of the screen a lot). As you destroy each object, it will mean you'll have to deal with less projectiles, so it gets easier as time goes on. Once you've beaten it, the blue kelly will rip itself apart. As Annet heads out to sea, Restiana talks to Henry, the leader of the Cult of Hastur:

NOTES

The boss of this level appears to be a Gelatinous Cube, which I believe originated from Dungeons & Dragons. The El Viento version has the green and orange things inside it.
