NOTES
If you press start to skip level 7's cutscene, it will cause a glitch in the ending where some dialogue won't appear. The lines about saving mankind, the battle being over and most of Zigfried's lines will be skipped. So if you want to see the full ending, don't skip level 7's cutscene! You can see the glitch in this video. This glitch only seems to happen in the American version of the game.
Annet's outfit, which can be much more clearly scene for the first 40 seconds or so in the ending, is quite a bit less revealing then what it is like in the game and several other cut-scenes. The most notable differences are that she wears sleaves and stockings.
Whilst not shown here in this ending, Annet Futatabi's character bios state that Annet was able to seal Hastur's power for herself.
American El Viento fans would not get to find out what Zigfried's plan was at the time, as this game's true sequel, Annet Futatabi, was not released outside of Japan. Instead, the Genesis version of Earnest Evans was turned into the sequel. Zigfried doesn't appear in that version of the game, and doesn't even get a mention in the manual.
