Annet finds herself in the castle's dungeon. She wonders about why everyone in the castle attacked her, and where she is now. A voice calls out to her, and Annet finds a woman locked up in a cell...Princess Aisha?! The captive Aisha explains that she is the real Princess, the one that Annet saw earlier is a fake. It was Captain Virgilis who put the fake Princess on the throne, as part of his plan to take over her this country.

Virgilis then appears, along with Kirke. Kirke doesn't seem to be that happy about being here, as Virgilis tells Annet that the reason he had the real Aisha locked away is because a naive idealist like her cannot defend this country from the coming storms. Annet gets up, but Virgilis pulls out a gun and tells her to hold it, or he'll shoot the Princess.

Annet says he's a coward, but he tells her she's not a soldier, so she won't understand that these are tactics of war. Annet is then sent out into a coliseum, where a massive crowd has gathered to watch her demise! Virgilis asks Aisha to reveal where she has hidden the idol -if she doesn't, Annet will have to fight their elite soldiers. Will she be able to stand here and watch them massacre her?

Annet nervously waits in the coliseum. She looks over to the opposite side and sees that her opponent is waiting for her...

Before you can fight the boss, there are a couple of extra challengers to deal with. Both of these are brand new enemies, and the first of them is a woman armed with claws. She has a somersault kick move, and her other attack has her swiping with her claws and moving forward slightly. She's a bit dense though as if you stay on her line, she'll usually keep doing her somersault kick even if she's nowhere near Annet. So let her attack, and then move in and attack her before she can strike again. Defeating her will bring on the next enemy: a robot who has a jumping spin kick.

The robot also has a jump kick move, but it isn't too hard to beat. Just move above or below him, then get in close to grab him. You can then throw him and repeat this until he's dead. With him out of the way, the boss seen earlier will appear. The guy is keen on fireballs, and he has two variants of them. The first has him throw them straight across the screen, but they aren't too tough to avoid. The good news with the boss is that you can grab him, so go for throws if you don't feel like using dash kicks.

His other projectile is a projectile uppercut, which can knock you out of the air if you try and jump attack on him. It's difficult to keep your distance from this boss, because he can dash across the screen -one of the few bosses capable of this. Dash kicks are an effective way of dealing with this guy. Try running up or down into him and then kicking him to keep knocking him back. He also has a flaming swipe move which he only seems to use when he's really close to you. Once he's been beaten, that's it -with just three enemies, this is quite a short level.

NOTES

Some magazine previews show that there was originally going to be a level set in the castle's dungeon, but it was scrapped.

The coliseum goes from being packed to being deserted in the cutscene -nobody seems to be there when the lightning is shown.

And then as for the level itself, where exactly is it set? It doesn't seem to be in the coliseum we were just shown at all!
