This game is best known as being the only 32X game that only saw a release in Japan. Because beside from that, most people aren't going to be able to play it. Whilst it did see a release in America for some other consoles, the 32X version stayed in Japan, making it largely unplayable for anyone who can't read Japanese. Because of this, I don't have much to say about this game.

Info
The game has you pick from a selection of scenarios and then you must win against enemy armies. Managing your own kingdom requires you to create your own army, buying and selling in the markets, waging war against other kingdoms and more.
You can select men to go out and try to find treasures, or have them try and cause revolts in neighboring cities. However enemy Kingdoms can also try and do the same to you, so keeping your own citizens and troops loyal as well as preventing other Kingdoms from sending in spies is also crucial.
Whilst the 32X version was only released in Japan, the Super Nintendo, SEGA Saturn and Playstation versions were released in America (under the title of Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire). I presume the Saturn and Playstation versions are the best, but I've also read that the SNES port is very good.
This game is highly desirable for collectors, due to it being the only 32X Japanese exclusive.
