Super Street Fighter IV was released in April 2010. An update to 2009's Street Fighter IV, this version includes several new moves, stages, game modes and characters, including Guy and Cody. Whilst Guy is still a master of the Bushin style, Cody has still been in jail since the events of Street Fighter Alpha 3, but leaves his cell to go and find something to do (fighting). Guy and Cody both have their moves from the Street Fighter Alpha series, along with some new techniques.
Bonus stages were added to the game, including one which is the same as the first bonus stage from the first Final Fight: trash the car! Bred, a Mad Gear member, will even come onto the screen and cry "Oh! My car!" when you trash it as Cody or Guy. One of the new stages is set in Metro City, with Hugo (or an Andore) making a cameo as a construction worker. There is also a statue of Haggar. A couple of music remixes of tracks from the first Final Fight can also be unlocked and heard as Cody or Guy's themes when fighting against them in the 2 player versus mode.
Super Street Fighter IV was met with a positive critical reception, and the sales were good (almost 2 million copies were sold). The game is available on Nintendo 3DS, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. An updated version of the game, subtitled Arcade Edition, was released in 2011.
