Compared to the previous Final Fight games for the Super Nintendo, Final Fight 3 has few differences between the Japanese and American versions of the game. Changes made to the American version are also present in the European version.

In Japan, this game is called Final Fight Tough. It was called Final Fight 3 in America. The title logo in the Japanese version is more spectacular than the American version.
