Guy finds out from Cody that Jessica has been kidnapped. He immediately decides to help out, so he can also put hit skills to the test. Guy is the fastest of the three characters, but also the weakest.

COMBO

Press the attack button repeatedly when near an opponent. Guy's combo starts with 2 quick jabs, one straight punch, an elbow smash and then a high kick. The high kick will knock the opponent over if it connects.


JUMP KICK

Press jump, then attack. Guy's kick will knock down any enemy hit by it.


FLYING KICK

Hold left or right and press jump, then press the attack button. Will knock the opponent down if it hits.


OFF THE WALL JUMP KICK

Jump towards a wall, then as Guy comes into contact with it, press the jump button again. Guy will jump off the wall, press the attack button to deliver a powerful flying kick.


ELBOW DROP

Whilst in a jump, hold down and press the attack button. Guy will hit the opponent from above and stun them. This is useful if you want to try and grab the opponent easily.


KNEE BASH

Grab the opponent and press the attack button. Guy will knee the opponent in the head. This can be done up to three times, the third hit always does the most damage.


SHOULDER THROW

Grab the opponent, hold a direction and then press the attack button. Guy will throw his opponent over his shoulder.


SPECIAL ATTACK
WHIRLWIND KICK

Press attack and jump together to make Guy do a spinning kick, which will knock down all nearby enemies around him.

Cody gets a call from Haggar, an old gym-mate of his, that Jessica has been kidnapped. Cody goes out to save his girlfriend from the Mad Gear gang. Cody is a favorite for most gamers as he is average at everything -whilst he doesn't have any particular strengths in any area, he isn't weak in any, either. Add that to the fact that he is the only character out of the 3 who can stab with knives instead of throwing them and he's the character of choice for most players.

COMBO

JUMP KICK

Press jump, then attack. Cody's kick will knock down any enemy hit by it.

Hold left or right and press jump, then press the attack button. Will knock the opponent down if it hits.


KNEE DROP

Whilst in a jump, hold down and press the attack button. Cody will hit the opponent from above and stun them. Whilst they're stunned, it makes them easier to grab for a throw.


KNEE BASH

Grab the opponent and press the attack button. Cody will knee the opponent in the head. Can be done up to three times, the third hit always does the most damage.


SHOULDER THROW

Grab the opponent, hold a direction and then press the attack button. Cody will throw his opponent over his shoulder.


SPECIAL ATTACK
CYCLONE KICK

Press attack and jump together. Cody will do a spinning kick which will knock down nearby enemies, and it has excellent range.

Haggar is the new mayor of Metro City, and wants the Mad Gear gang cleaned out of the streets. But after the Mad Gears kidnap his daughter, he decides to take them all on and get Jessica back. Haggar is the slowest character in the game, but is also the most powerful -the latter part of that statement backed up by his piledriver move.

COMBO

Press the attack button repeatedly when near an opponent. Haggar's combo consists of 2 punches to the gut, followed by a hammer punch. The last hit will knock the opponent over if it connects.


JUMP/FLYING KICK

Press jump then attack, or press a direction with jump, then press attack. Haggar's drop kick will knock any opponent down if it hits them.


JUMP ATTACK

Another jumping attack, this one is done by jumping, then holding down and pressing the attack button. This move will knock over opponents.


HEADBUTT

Grab the opponent and press the attack button. Can be done up to three times, the third hit always does the most damage on any opponent.


SUPLEX

Grab the opponent, hold either left or right, then press the attack button to smash the opponent into the floor.


PILEDRIVER

Haggar's ultimate move. Grab the opponent and press the jump button, and as you are jumping press the attack button to do the move. This attack does around 50% damage each time to the enemy the piledriver is performed on. You are not completely invincible when you do this move though, and enemies can hit you out of it as you jump up with the opponent. Hold left or right whilst jumping to aim where Haggar will land.


SPECIAL MOVE
SPINNING CLOTHESLINE

Press the attack and jump buttons together to make Haggar spin around with an arm out, causing any nearby enemies to be knocked down.
