Final Fight One has two extra characters: Alpha Cody and Alpha Guy, both of which have to be unlocked (see the cheats page for information on unlocking them). Here is a little bit of information about each character complete with all the moves you can do in the game. Remember that if you do a special attack which hits the opponent, you will suffer a little damage yourself. Also, I haven't listed the special attack command as you can either press attack and jump together or set it to a button yourself in the options menu.

Cody finds himself out of jail once again. However, he doesn't quite know where he is until some thugs attack him. He defeats them all and realises that the thugs are Mad Gear members. Cody then realises that he has somehow gone back in time to Metro City in 1987, and his mission is to rescue Jessica. This version of Cody is much more powerful than the normal one and can do huge amounts of damage to any enemy very quickly.

COMBO

Press the attack button repeatedly when near an opponent. Cody's combo starts with 2 quick jabs, followed by a guts punch and then an uppercut. The uppercut will knock the opponent over if it connects.


JUMP KICK

Press jump, then attack. Cody's kick will knock down any enemy hit by it.


FLYING KICK

Hold left or right and press jump, then press the attack button. Will knock the opponent down if it hits.


KNEE DROP

Whilst in a jump, hold down and press the attack button. Cody will hit the opponent from above and stun them. This is a good move to use if you want to make it easier to grab an opponent.


KNEE BASH

Grab the opponent and press the attack button. Cody will knee the opponent in the head. This can be done up to three times, the third hit always does the most damage.


SHOULDER THROW

Grab the opponent, hold a direction and then press the attack button. Cody will throw his opponent over his shoulder.


SPECIAL ATTACK
CYCLONE KICK

Cody will do a spinning kick which will knock down nearby enemies, and it has excellent range.

One day, Guy suddenly realises that he has no idea at all on where he is. A bunch of familiar thugs attack him, and Guy recognises them as Mad Gear members. He then realizes that somehow he has been transported back through time, and his mission is to rescue Jessica again. Alpha Guy is the most powerful character in the game, you'll breeze through it when playing as him.

COMBO

Press the attack button repeatedly when near to an opponent. Guy's combo starts with 2 quick jabs, one straight punch, an elbow smash and then a high kick. The high kick will knock the opponent over if it connects.


JUMP KICK

Press jump, then attack. Guy's kick will knock down any enemy hit by it.


FLYING KICK

Hold left or right and press jump, then press the attack button. Will knock the opponent down if it hits.


ELBOW DROP

Whilst in a jump, hold down and press the attack button. Guy will hit the opponent from above and stun them. Whilst they're stunned, go for a throw.


KNEE BASH

Grab the opponent and press the attack button. Guy will knee the opponent in the head. This can be done up to three times, the third hit always does the most damage.


SHOULDER THROW

Grab the opponent, hold a direction and then press the attack button. Guy will throw his opponent over his shoulder.


SPECIAL ATTACK
BUSHIN WHIRLWIND KICK

A spinning kick which will knock down any opponents close to Guy.
