A prototype of the American version was released by Xnz136 in 2017. From what I can tell, there are no gameplay differences, but there are some text differences:

Ryu's win quote is the same as it in in the arcade version in the prototype. The Sheng Long text was fixed for the final.

Chun Li has two normal win quotes. However, if she defeats herself, she also has two win quotes she'll sometimes use when this happens. One of these quotes is different in the prototype.

The prototype has Balrog use his arcade win quote. This was changed to something that doesn't mention blood for the final version.

One of Bison's win quote reveals he wasn't messing around in the prototype. It was toned down for the final version.
