As a strange eagle head glowed withunearthly power, Ryu awakened with a Shadowlaw cyberchip planted in his head. Interpol chief Barrac revelead to Fei Long that his mentor, Dorai, was still alive, and Fei Long vowed to protect him. And Ken, having escaped his prison, infiltrated the Shadowlaw fortress to find his friends, but is now shocked to see Chun Li!

Chun Li overwhelms her opponent, as Ken yells out her name. But she can't hear him, and gets her opponent into a chokehold.

She kills her opponent, and Ken can't believe it. He keeps shouting her name, but she just stands there.

The fight was watched by Bison, who just laughs at what's happened. Zoltar says he took the liberty of platning a cyberchip in this woman, immmediately after they successfully performed the procedure for the first time on Ryu. This is Shadowlaw's cyber warrior number 2: Chun Li. He says that Ryu is ready to be demonstrated as well, so Bison says for him to be brought out.

A door opens, and Ryu steps into the room. Ken is pleased Ryu is there, and tells him to get Chun Li out of there.

However, Ryu and Chun Li glance at each other, then walk past each other. Chun Li leaves the room, whilst Ryu waits in the middle of it. Bison asks Zoltar to tell him what he's discovered about Ryu's magnificent power he's able to summon. Zoltar asks for forgiveness, but they're still trying to make sense of the information they gained during the experiment.

Bison doesn't like that answer, and as he squeezes Zoltar's shoulder, Zoltar says the data has produced a little information Bison may find illuminating. Bison asks what the information is, and Zoltar says he must remember during the experiment their instrumentation was overloaded by the power. They've found they can access 100% of the enregy within Ryu, but it's only a fraction of what he produced then. Ryu is incapable of generating the amount of power they saw him unleash. Bison thinks about the experiment, where he fought with Ryu. Zoltar thinks he has a feeling that Ryu is somehow drawing on a greater energy, which exists outside of his physical body. Bison asks what he means.

Zoltar's theory is that Ryu's mastered an amazing method of drawing upon the ambient life energy from the environment, which flows through all living things -even plants and micro organisms in the water. This power is referred to in the myths of the Chinese as "hadou kou". Bison gets excited just thinking about this.

Bison says his own powers are awesome, but Ryu's power is very different from his own. His psycho power is produced from the raw hatred which burns within him, a hatred more potent than any power in the world! Zoltar agrees, and says they've yet to prove his theory is accurate. However, if he's right, it means Ryu's power is the complete polar opposite of psycho power. And if they can find a way to harness Ryu's advanced talents, Shadowlaw will then control two of the universe's greatest energies, and no one will dare stand against them! Bison says the power of all creation... the power of hadou... is wonderful -magnificent!

Ken calls out to Ryu, but gets no reponse. He decides he'll just have to break the wall down. Bison says he want to see Ryu summon hadou kou, and tells Zoltar to command him to begin the process. Zoltar says that he can't, whilst the cyberchip gives them command of Ryu's emotions and physical functions, they have no power over his more advanced capabilities. Bison says to have Ryu focus his ki completely, as it may trigger the response he wants. Zoltar makes the changes to the cybership's signal.

Ryu starts to create a hadou ken. Bison says that's what Ryu was doing before, when he fought him. Meanwhile, Ken begins to gather his ki.

Outisde, Guile and Nash take out a few guards, and then enter the fortress. Nash says their mini-coms aren't just for them to communicate, they can also be used as remote detonators. Guile says they'll use them to set off the incindinary grenades, and when they go off, the bad guys will thinks it's the fourth of July. Nash says if they need to locate each other, there's another button on the mini-com which will activate a homing signal, which they can hear through their ear pieces. Nash asks Guile what's wrong.

Guile says he's still got a bad feeling about this. Nash tells him neither one of them signed up for a picnic, and Guile says they'll do it. He tells Nash good luck, and to keep his head down. Nash tells Guile not to get himself killed, and then the two run off in different directions.

Ryu continues to gather together ki for his hadou ken. Chun Li heads back to the room where Bison and Zoltar are, and Bison says how nice his first female Shadowlaw cyber warrior is. He says she's as obedient as a mindless automaton, he almost misses the young woman who put up such a fight before.

Zoltar tells Bison that the power is beginning to manifest. They watch as Ryu starts to control the energy, but are unaware that Ken is also doing exactly the same thing nearby.

A guard then calls in, saying he has an urgent report. He says they've found the source of that explosion that rocked the compound over an hour ago. It came from the chamber where they were holding Ken Masters captive, and blew the ceiling out! They don't know what caused it, but it must have been a powerful blast. Zoltar thinks that's impossible, but the view of the room shows a large hole in the ceiling. Bison asks where Ken is, but the guard shows him that Ken has escaped. They haven't found any trace of his body, but thought they might search for him, in case he survived the blast.

Zoltar yells at him, believing that Ken escaped during the blast. He tells the guard to find Ken, as that boy is worth a billion dollars to them! He tells him to bring him back alive, so the guard says they'll find him. Zoltar says he can't imagine how this happened, but they'll begin the search immediately. Bison says Ken was the one who did it.

He has Zoltar bring up the video of the cell again, showing the destroyed chains. He wonders what could have broken them so easily without oblitering Ken as well, but he then starts laughing. He thinks that Ken has control over hadou kou just as Ryu does.

He tells Zoltar to look -whatever blew up the ceiling was focussed on that one spot. The blast obviously came from within the chamber, so Ken must have developed a natural ability to tap into hadou. He thinks this is marvelous, and starts laughing. Zoltar starts laughing as well, but Bison asks him what's he laughing about?!

Zoltar says nothing. Meanwhile, Ryu and Ken continue to gather their ki.

Hadou swirls around Ken, whilst Ryu creates the hadou ken. Ken shouts that he can do this!

Ryu is ready to throw out the hadou ken, but Ken starts to use his hadou sho ryu ken. Ryu throws out his hadou ken...

...whilst Ken uses the hadou sho ryu ken. Part of the wall gets completely destroyed.

As the smoke clears up, Ken sees Ryu. Ryu just stands there.

Ken says they can talk later, for now they need to get out of here, and find Chun Li. He tells Ryu to come on, but Ryu doesn't move.

Ken asks what's going on, but is surprised to see Ryu go into his fighting stance!

As Guile infiltrates deep into the Shadowlaw fortress, he finds himself pitted against the mighty Zangief. Meanwhile, Cammy closes in to finish off Dorai, but Fei Long stands ready to protect him. And Ryu, controlled by Bison, sends his deadly fists flying against Ken! Be here for Street Fighter II V: Fight to the Finish (Round One) - The Grand Triple Battle Command. Gonna burn some muscle!
