In Kenya, a ranger is out and about when he sees a vulture flying around and believes that this is not a good sign. Something catches his eye and he takes a look with a pair of binoculars to see a large stampede heading towards him. Strangely the stampede got lots of different animal types in it. He radios back to base to report where the animals are heading and soon they crash through a small village.

Shuuta, Cab and Minerva have all returned to Japan and Cab has received a package from the Karin Islands where he used to live. Shuuta and Minerva think that the package will be something important, given that Cab is a Prince after all, but it actually contains coconuts. But since they taste so good none of them really mind, and Minerva mentions she saw something about a stampede in Kenya on the news. SInce Cab has no TV here he has no idea what she is talking about, but then their Master-braces begin to flash, meaning they are needed at the base.

At the Cybertron base, Hawk explains to them about the stampede in Kenya and that it was caused by the Destrons. Phoenix is already in Kenya and has been asking the locals about what happened. They told him that they saw monsters, and from their descriptions, it was the work of the Seacons. Lander and Diver are already on their way to Kenya, and the Headmaster Juniors depart on a plane. Metalhawk transforms to his jet mode and flies with them.

At the Decepticon base, Blood contacts Gilmer and Dauros. The two of them are in Kenya, and are going to start another stampede. Since their opponents are animals, the Cybertrons won't do a thing. Blood says that he will join them shortly. As he walks off, the Destron Headmaster Juniors appear and ask to go along with them. They think their Cybertron counterparts will be there, and they want to crush them. Blood suggests they train harder first before opening their big mouths. As he walks on, Cancer thinks that this plan is kind of a small scale thing. Blood stops, and then starts hurling rocks at the three of them!

They run off and stop at the shrine. Blood takes a swipe at them and calls them fools for thinking this plan is small scale. The animals will attack the humans, and the humans will then kill the animals. The balance of life will crumble, and nature shall fall. The humans will want help, and that is where the Destrons will come in -but they will be worshipped as Gods for whatever aid they bring. Raising his arms in front of the shrine, the orb inside it erupts with energy, which Blood takes in.

The Cybertrons land in Kenya, but Shuuta and Cab are more interested in Minerva's new outfit. She tells them to stop daydreaming and to get moving, as they need to go. Both boys agree.

The Cybertrons roll out, but Shuuta and Cab can't resist taking a crack at Minerva's clothes and start singing a song about a cool girl who ignores the guys who chase her eyes, whilst she shakes her legs. Minerva speeds up. A few minutes later, they meet up with the Cybertron Pretenders, and Phoenix explains that there were over 1,000 animals in the stampede. Diver then drives up with Ricky, the ranger who saw the stampede earlier. Before he can even say hello, he grabs his rifle and takes aim...

...straight at Minerva!

Thankfully he's just showing off his awesome aim as he blows a scorpion apart with the shot.

However Shuuta kicks the gun out of his hand and asks if he's a Destron, but Diver points out that the scorpion, which was right next to Minerva. Cab gives him his rifle back and tells him that Shuuta is always causing them trouble with his carelessness.

Since the savanna is so huge, the group splits up. Hawk and Diver check out one area, and think the Seacons could still be around. Hawk contacts Phoenix and Lander, who are checking out another area. Lander finds a detonator and realises that the Destrons must have caused a forest fire to start the stampede. Diver then finds another detonator, and Hawk says that the Destrons are trying to turn Africa into a continent of death.

Meanwhile, the other Cybertrons are with Ricky, and are watching a bunch of elephants walk past. He then takes the kids back to his own village and says he is worried another stampede could come through here. Entering his home, he shows them a baby deer, who was injured in the previous stampede. The previous stampede went through a village, and he had to try and stop them. He saw a herd of deer heading straight towards a school, and had to unfortunately shoot the leader of the herd to get them to change direction. This fawn was part of that herd, but must have got trampled on. He thinks that the fawn will die.

Minerva says she can save it though and takes it into the back of his transtector. Shuuta and Cab explain that with the special equipment Minerva has, she will be able to save the fawn. Elsewhere, Phoenix and Lander find themselves under attack! Some Kraken have appeared, but the Cybertrons make short work of them.

An Overbite appears and surprises Lander, who kills the Seacon by punching it in the face and then blowing it to pieces with his gun. He contacts Metalhawk, saying that they've just encountered some Seacons. Elsewhere, Metalhawk and Diver are also under attack, but destroy their opponents.

The Destron Pretenders then appear and change to their robot modes. They say that Metalhawk shouldn't interfere with their plans, but as they other Cybertron Pretenders arrive, they just want to remove the bulky Destron trash from Africa. However, the Destrons have some extra help in the form of a squadron of Krakens, who are sent to deal with the Cybertrons. The Cybertrons are forced to go on the run...

...before deciding to start shooting back. As they fight, the Destrons change back to their Pretender shells and head towards some elephants. Dauros wants to fight, and isn't happy when Blood tells him they just needed to keep the Cybertrons occupied. Blood walks towards the elephants, and, using the power that the orb transferred into him...

...he can talk to the animals. He tells them that humans are their enemies, and they should kill them all. The Destrons ride the elephants, who stampede towards a village. The Cybertron Pretenders see them, but can't bring themselves to fire on the Destrons in fear of accidentally shooting the elephants. Metalhawk contacts the others and tells them what is going on, so they tell the villagers to evacuate. Ricky finds out what is happening, and runs off towards the stampede.

He wants to try and stop the animals, but after a couple of warning shots from his rifle don't work, he simply runs out and yells at them to stop. Unsurprisingly, the animals continue to charge, and it is only thanks to Shuuta and Cab that Ricky is not killed by the stampede. The two of them stop the animals, and the rest of the Cybertrons show up to help them out.

With their plan ending in failure, the Destrons decide to run -and Dauros points out that there are twice as many Cybertrons as there are Destrons. The stampede has been stopped, and nobody was hurt. Later on, everyone watches...

...as the healed fawn is released back into the wild. Ricky thanks Minerva for her help, but she says that it was his kindness and compassion which gave the fawn the strength to live. Africa is the mother Earth to many people, and may it to forever be peaceful.

NOTES

Ricky is voiced by Keiichi Noda, who voiced Shouki and Raiden in The Headmasters, along with Professor Gou in this series. He'll also be voicing a new character who is introduced in the next episode -Giga.
