Overlord has attacked and overtook a base on the Moon used for weather observations. He waits for another Destron to arrive. That Destron is:

BLACKZARAK

Back on Earth, construction of Godbomber continues. But Hawk has found out that contact with the staff of the Moon base has been lost. On the Moon...

...the staff have been locked into the only remaining central section. Most of the staff are getting tired of waiting, and think there must be a way of contacting the Earth. There Captain says there is, and reveals a weapon. Elsewhere in the base, Devil Z contacts Giga and Mega and tells them that as soon as BlackZarak arrives, they are to return to Earth at once. As the communication ends, Giga points out to Mega that the base staff are doing something.

They are cutting down the locked door. Giga goes to sort them out, and uses a freeze gun to deal with three of them. But the staff had split up, and another two guys manage to send a signal out to Earth before Giga comes in and ends their transmission.

The distress signal is also picked up by Phoenix at the Cybertron base in Japan, so he contacts Hawk and fills him in on the situation. It seems that Overlord is the one behind the attack. Lightfoot wonders if the Destrons instead to build a base there, but Hawk thinks there must be another reason. Phoenix then contacts them again, saying that BlackZarak is heading towards the Moon! Grand Maximus then contacts them, saying that the Destron plan involves BlackZarak meeting Overlord on the Moon, and then the two of them heading to Earth to start an attack. He tells Hawk that they must complete the Bomber Project as quickly as possible. He himself is on his way to the Moon.

Hawk says that having analyzed BlackZarak, his fighting ability is much greater than that of Overlords. Shuuta wonders what will happen if BlackZarak gets to the Earth...his friends would be smashed up!

Would even the Godmasters be able to stand up to him?! Shuuta is worried, but Hawk says that Ginrai is the only one who can stop the Destrons.

The Bomber Project has had numerous delays already, so Hawk says they will accelerate it's completion. Lightfoot takes the others into a room and explains more about Godbomber. The "Godwings" will let Ginrai get up to speeds of mach 15. The "Godcannon" possess strong destructive power, and can absorb Choukon power to become even stronger. And of course, Godbomber will be able to merge with Super Ginrai, to create God Ginrai.

Ginrai says that he will have to defeat Overlord first. Lightfoot says it will be a very difficult battle if he has to fight both Overlord and BlackZarak at the same time. Lightfoot and the Headmaster Juniors then leave to check on Godbomber's progress, leaving Ginrai in the room alone. He takes a look at the image of God Ginrai, but also thinks of Lightfoot's words. A difficult battle...he thinks about his first fight against Overlord, and how poorly he fared. He starts punching a wall in rage.

In the factory, the Cybertrons see they are almost there -they just need to keep this pace up. Outside, Ginrai does some stretches next to his repaired transtector when the Headmaster Juniors appear. He says the reason he's a little down is because he has been worried about going into battle against Overlord again, but he says this is just a slump and he'll recover from it quickly.

But he wants to do some training, so the next morning he has Shuuta and Cab attack him. Even they seem to be able to beat him, but they encourage him not to give up, as it will take a lot more from him to defeat the Destrons. Ginrai knows they are right.

Cab manages to throw him, but he gets up and says he's not done yet. But then Lightfoot drives up to them and says that they've done it -Godbomber has been completed! Inside the factory...

GODBOMBER

Ginrai and the others look at the completed Bomber Project. Ginrai says he knows what he has to do, and he says he is going to go to the Moon immediately. But Hawk tells him to cool it as he can't allow him to go yet. Godbomber is taken to the ground level, and parked next to Ginrai's transtector on a test course. Ginrai says again that he wants to go to the Moon now, before BlackZarak gets there.

But Hawk says they still have to test his efficiency and ability first. Ginrai says he is the leader of the Godmasters, he has to do this. Doesn't Hawk think he is capable of doing this, or something?! Hawk doesn't think he'll be able to go into this battle by himself, but Ginrai doesn't listen to him. He tells Hawk to trust him and climbs inside his cab, transforming into a robot.

He then transforms into Super Ginrai. Godbomber rolls out, and using the "Super-God Unification", Super Ginrai merges with it. Godbomber separates into several different pieces, which unite with Super Ginrai. The unification is completed, and the Cybertrons stare at Ginrai's new form:

GOD GINRAI

God Ginrai takes off and heads into the sky. But the Cybertrons are not the only ones to witness this -in the Destron base, Devil Z also sees God Ginrai and realises that the accursed Cybertrons have completed their Bomber Project. But they will not interfere with his plans. Meanwhile, God Ginrai leaves the Earth and heads towards the Moon.

Devil Z contacts Giga and Mega, and tells them God Ginrai is coming. Giga says that as Overlord they will reduce him to space dust before he reaches the Moon. The two get into their transtectors and unite to become Overlord. Overlord leaves the Moon, and meets God Ginrai. He says he intends to make outer space a grave for him, but God Ginrai says that this time things will be settled once and for all. Overlord starts the battle by using his Choukon bolt masher, but this time the missiles do not effect God Ginrai.

God Ginrai draws out two large guns and starts shooting at Overlord, who shoots back using his "Choukon Daemon Blast". Back on Earth, the Cybertrons have returned to Japan, and are somehow able to watch the battle. The Headmaster Juniors cheer God Ginrai on.

God Ginrai kicks Overlord back. Overlord tells him to come to the Moon base, and then uses his thrusters to move back. Meanwhile, BlackZarak has arrived.

God Ginrai follows Overlord, and the battle resumes on the Moon itself. God Ginrai starts repeatedly firing at Overlord, and then gets ready to end the battle by using a Choukon charged missile from his new Godcannon.

But before he can fire, he gets distracted when a new Destron appears: BlackZarak! Overlord knows who he is and says his name, as God Ginrai realises that this is the secret Destron weapon. The Cybertrons on Earth see BlackZarak for the first time, but Shuuta believes that he is still no match for the powered-up Ginrai.

Overlord shoots God Ginrai, as BlackZarak throws his Tyrant Spear at him, sending it straight through his right shoulder. God Ginrai removes it, but he is now stood between two of the most powerful Destrons ever. He knows that if he loses now, the Earth shall fall into the hands of the Destrons. He can't lose, no matter what! The Cybertrons have put all of their efforts into the creation of God Ginrai, and now, during his first battle, he is in a crisis. What will be the fate of God Ginrai?

NOTES

The opening few minutes of this episode use clips from the previous one to explain what happened previously, but some of the clips show a scene that wasn't actually in the episode. The scene in question is Overlord's attack on the Moon base. Staff are seen being blown back by explosions, and some buildings explode.
