At the Destron base, Giga and Mega surprise Hydra and Buster when they tell them that they are not the only Godmasters on Earth - there are more, but they just haven't been found yet. They refer to the other Godmasters living on the planet as their "offspring". However these other Godmasters are not complete yet, as they have not bonded with humans. Only then do they become a complete lifeform. Giga is afraid -he fears that humans who are not to their liking may become Godmasters. Humans who sympathize with the Cybertrons. Hydra and Buster say they will use all of their power to find the other Godmasters, and set out.

At the institute, Diver is on the video phone to the director of Baney Aquarium. The director is sending Diver a sick dolphin, but Diver says the dolphin hasn't arrived yet. Another call comes in, and it is from the trucker who's meant to be delivering the dolphin. He explains that his engine went and he's managed to get to a mechanic, so he should be back on the way soon. The trucker goes to see the mechanic, but finds out that it will take two or three days for the repairs to be completed. The trucker says he can't wait that long and asks to borrow a cab.

The mechanic says he only has one available, but there seems to be something strange about it. Another guy was meant to be borrowing it for a weak, but returned it after a day. There was some kind of strange phenomena about it. The trucker says he'll find out for himself, and says he'll test it out before he buys it. Soon he is on his way, as a storm starts.

He finds the cab to handle well, and thinks that if he can get a good price, he'll buy this. He soon reaches the institute, and as the dolphin container is safely moved, he cleans up his new cab. He begins to think up a plan to get the cab for practically nothing from the rental shop, and believes that if he says the phenomena isn't that bad, but he can't buy it, that ought to do the trick.

However disaster then strikes when a forklift truck drove accidentally backs into the cab, damaging the bumper. The trucker checks out the damage, but there's nothing he can do. Meanwhile, Hydra and Buster...

...land their transtectors. They are in America, and Buster asks if there is meant to be some kind of clue here. Hydra says this was the place where they bonded with their transtectors for the first time, so perhaps more Godmasters are here. For now, all they can do is try to piece together any information they can on where other possible Godmasters could be.

Back at the institute, the trucker is having a look around his cab when he opens the glove box and finds a sphere in it. He opens it up and finds that there are some bracelets inside. He puts them on and starts to comb his hair, but he realises that the bracelets don't look very good on him at all. He decides to take them off.

Diver heads over and says they've reconnected the trailer, when he notices that the trucker is doing something weird. The trucker says he can't get these bracelets off, and Diver is alarmed when he sees what they are. He asks the trucker where he got those, and he points out the sphere. Diver wants to know where this truck came from and finds out it is from a place around two hours away. He decides to go with the trucker back to the rental shop.

As the journey begins, Diver mentions the Destrons, but the trucker doesn't seem to have any idea who they are. Diver explains about them and the trucker seems to remember hearing about them. He relates the Destrons, a group of powerful begins, to the time he saw a buffalo rampaging through a city. He thought he should stop it, but didn't want to die, so he did nothing. Diver explains that those bracelets he's wearing along with a transtector will make him just as powerful. The trucker spits out his drink and tells Diver to stop kidding around. He intends to cut these bracelets off, but Diver says he probably won't be able to do that. The trucker tells him not to scare him like that.

Elsewhere in America, Hydra and Buster have met up with the three Decepticon Headmaster Juniors, who have also been doing their part in searching for other Godmasters. They have found out a rumor about a mysterious truck which can repair itself, although they have no idea if it's an actual Godmaster or not. All they know is that it is at a certain rental shop in the US, but that's enough for Hydra and Buster to be interested.

The trucker asks about the bracelets again, and Diver says the ones he's seen before are similar, but a different type to the ones he has. Up in the air, Hydra and Buster head to the rental shop, although whether or not this truck is a Godmaster remains to be seen. Nearby, the truck is driving on a road next to a cliff.

Diver thinks that if they can find out how this truck got to the rental shop, they can find out the true nature of the bracelets. Suddenly the controls and instruments inside the cab go haywire -nothing's responding! Outside, the damage to the bumper suddenly repairs itself!

A sharp turn is coming up, and despite the trucker's attempts to turn the wheel and use the brakes, nothing works. The truck smashes through the barrier and plummets off the cliff. Diver suits up, leaves the cab...

...and changes to robot mode. He dashes back towards the falling truck, but fails to get to it in time and it smashes into the ground. Seconds after this, the trailer lands on the cab.

Diver manages to get the trailer off the cab, but when he calls out to the trucker, he gets no response. To make things worse, Hydra and Buster just happen to fly over, and spot him. They transform and land and ask what business he has with that truck. He was about to ask them the same thing. He then hears some movement inside the truck and is about to get the driver out, when the Godmasters attack him.

As they fight, the trucker is still alive, and says he can't die like this. He didn't come to America to end up like this. Outside, Hydra says they cannot let Diver take away a potential fellow Godmaster, and move him away from the truck. He tells them that this planet is like a second home to them. They've come to know the wondrous begins known as humans and decided to continue to live on this world. He won't let the Destrons take what they want from it!

Hydra just laughs and says Diver is just a Pretender. He changed his form to a human, but he isn't a real one. He's just a fake. Back inside the cab, the trucker says he can't die. Outside, Buster asks if his brother's word were hurtful, as they are two humans that he just praised so much. Hydra says that they have surpassed humans, and he'll show him how.

Hydra uses chichoukon power, and levitates some rocks which he sends into Diver. Buster then joins in, using tenchoukon power to blast Diver.

Hydra asks if he understands now what happens to those who oppose him, but Diver says all they've been granted is power. They don't have hearts, and as long as they remain heartless, they cannot surpass humans. He still intends to rescue the young man inside the truck. Inside the cab, the trucker is still trying to get out, and is nearly at a window.

As he tries the handle, his right wrist bracelets makes contact with his left wrist one. Suddenly, he is placed inside a power suit, and the truck changes around him -within seconds, it is back to normal again!

Hydra kicks Diver out of the way as he and his brother go to check the truck. But they move back when they realise something is wrong -the truck starts to shake and then fixes itself! Suddenly the trucker bursts out of the roof, and transforms into an engine, which attaches itself to the front of the truck.

The cab transforms into a robot.

GINRAI

The trucker has become a robot, and when he hears the black robot's voice, he knows he was the guy inside with him a few minutes a go. But he wants to know who the other two robots are. Diver says that they are Destrons.

The trucker is angry, and as he moves towards the Destrons, he reveals that he can use Choukon power. He throws a rock at the two, and they decide to leave and report this to Giga. They transform and blast off.

Later on, Diver finds out that the trucker has no injuries from the fall. He asks what his name is, and finds out it is Ginrai. Ginrai explains that he is Japanese, but lives in America. He left Japan two years a go because he found it to be too cramped, and wanted to see what he could do in spacious America.

Ginrai says the inside of his head is a mess right now, but Diver says one thing is clear: that he is a Godmaster, as that is what the Destrons referred to him as. That truck is a transtector which Ginrai has bonded with. Out of nowhere, a Godmaster has suddenly appeared as if it were brought by a great force.

NOTES

In the previous two episodes, parts of Hydra's robot mode had white on the arms and legs. For this episode and onwards, these parts are now red like the toy. Click here to see the difference.

So Ginrai's transtector looks like Convoy (Optimus Prime) but this similarity is never mentioned by any of the characters in episodes to come.
