Dio's World:
The Warrior of the Void: Vanilla Ice

Jotaro's group wait outside Dio's mansion. Polnareff says they've come this far, and Avdol says there's no doubt about it. The group get out of the truck.

Joseph says that after 50 days of ferocious battles, this long journey is coming to an end here. They look at the mansion, and there's no signs of life. Jotaro says it looks abandoned, but Joseph is sure he feels what he's feeling: a deadly atmosphere, and a devil who possess the life force of darkness: Dio. Polnareff says he'll take care of Dio, and thinks the conclusion of this journey is the conclusion to this phase of his life. No matter how powerful Dio is, he wants to cut him up with his own hands.

Avdol tells him it's dangerous to go off on his own, and once they enter the mansion, he must follow Joseph's instructions. Polnareff tells him he doesn't need to worry so much, and wonders if Avdol is the one freaking out after coming this far. The two look like they're about to get into a fight, but Joseph says there's no more time. As the group walk off, Polnareff thinks that Avdol shouldn't worry about him, and instead look after that dumb dog. Although he thinks Iggy is just going to run away when the time comes.

Avdol tells Iggy he won't force him to come along, as this time he's sure they'll be risking their lives to fight this battle. He throws down the rest of the gum he has, and says if he survives, he'll take him back to his hometown in New York. Avdol then rejoins the others, who stand at the mansion's gates. The gates open up as Joseph walks towards them, but there's nobody around. Jotaro walks in and says that since Dio must know they're here, they should make a big entrance. He uses Star Platinum to start punching down the doors.

Back in Japan, Suzie Q tells her daughter to hang on. The doctor says he understands how she feels, but Holy is in a coma, so she won't be able to hear her. He tells her to go home and get some rest, but she asks how he can say such a thing, when Holy's life is hanging by a thread. With Joseph and Jotaro not returning at such a critical moment, she must watch over Holy. Holy then speaks Jotaro's and her father's names.

Holy opens her eyes, and says she knows that her father and Jotaro are, for her sake, doing their best right now. The doctor can't believe it, and says that Holy hasn't actually regained consciousness, so she shouldn't be able to speak at all. Holy says she believes in Jotaro, and Suzie Q tells her to be strong.

Back in the mansion, the group head up some stairs. Avdol has a flaming life detector set up, and it suddenly reveals there is something behind them. They turn around, only to see that it's just a rat.

Polnareff says not to scare him like that. The group continue, and eventually reach the top of the stairs. They enter a room which has a coffin inside it, and they see that the coffin has the name "Dio" on it. They then see that Iggy has come along after all.

Jotaro has Star Platinum punch part of a wall, which lets sunlight in. Joseph thinks that they know the man they're about to meet, he and Jotaro know him from before they were even born. The blood of the Joestars knows this man.

Avdol thinks that the battle they are about to begin, no matter the outcome, he has no regrets. He wants no regrets, which is why he's here now. Polnareff asks how long everyone is going to stare at the coffin, and says he'll open it. Avdol tells him not to open it so carelessly, and Polnareff asks if he's accusing him of being careless. Avdol asks Joseph to let him use his fire here.

Avdol summons Magician's Red, who hits the coffin with a fiery blast.

The lid blows off the coffin and falls to the ground, but as the smoke clears, they see that Avdol is inside the coffin!

Avdol doesn't understand why or how he's suddenly in here. As Polnareff goes up to him, Joseph tells Jotaro to think about what just happened, as if they act carelessly, they'll all be destroyed! Polnareff asks Avdol if Dio did this, and what it was he did. Avdol tells Polnareff to run and get away from him.

They then hear someone clapping. Dio has appeared, and says they've finally arrived here. He congratulates them for their efforts. Avdol is about to say what the secret of Dio's stand is, but Dio then says two words: "do it".

Avdol suddenly pushes back Polnareff, but is then torn apart by an unknown force. There is suddenly a hole in the coffin and the ground under it.

Another man appears out of the hole, and he leaps out and kneels in front of Dio. Dio says this is Vanilla Ice, and wonders if they've heard of him from D'Arby. He says he took Vanilla Ice under his wing as his right-hand man. Polnareff asks what Vanilla Ice did to Avdol, and wants to know where he is.

Dio tells him to calm down, and asks why he's so anxious. He wonders if Polnareff is afraid of him, and says that Vanilla Ice obeys him without any fear on anxiety. He tells Vanilla Ice to cut his own head off. Vanilla Ice immediately summons his Stand, Cream...

...who decapitates him. Dio asks if they can understand why Vanilla Ice obeyed him so blindly. He says it's because he felt secure about serving him. Because of their Stand abilities and the superior powers they possess, Stand users are shunned by society. But by serving him, all worthless feelings like loneliness and insecurity are gone for good. It is because he, Dio, is the ultimate, absolute power.

Dio walks down and tells Vanilla Ice that a worthy man like him shouldn't be left to die in a place like this. He picks up Vanilla Ice's head, and then cuts his own wrist. He says that he will use his own blood to resurrect him. The blood from his wrist trickles down onto Vanilla Ice, and Dio then reattaches his head to his body. Vanilla Ice is revived, and Dio says this group has come all the way here with some crazed idea to kill him, Dio.

He decides to give them the punishment of absolute death, and end his karma with the Joestar family. But he thinks Polnareff would be a waste to kill, as he's quite an excellent Stand user. He thinks he and that pup over there ought to become his servants, and if they do, they no longer need to fear death any longer. Polnareff tells him to shut up, and asks again about what happened to Avdol. Dio tells Vanilla Ice to explain. Vanilla Ice says that Avdol is dead. His Stand created a sub-dimension into which Avdol was swallowed, and vanished without a trace. Exactly where Avdol has gone is something even he doesn't know.

Polnareff sends out Silver Chariot, and Dio thinks this is so much pressure. He really thinks it would be a waste to kill Polnareff, but it seems it can't be helped. He tells Vanilla to deal with him. Vanilla Ice summons Cream, which consumes him.

Silver Chariot tries to attack, but Cream consumes itself, and then disappears. Cream hits the floor, causing it to break apart and make Polnareff fall.

Dio laughs, and tells Joseph and Jotaro to be pleased, as he, Dio, is going to deal with them personally. Iggy takes a look at what's left of Avdol, and then leaps off down the hole in the floor.

Dio laughs at Iggy running away, and thinks the pup is smarter than the two Joestars. Polnareff falls, but has Silver Chariot stab its rapier into a pillar. Polnareff wonders where Vanilla Ice went, but then sees a hole suddenly appears in a nearby wall.

He leaps away from the pillar, seconds before Cream smashes through part of it. He lands on some stairs and starts running, as Cream starts blowing apart the stairs. Polnareff sees a boarded up window, and leaps out of it. He lands in a pool below.

He walks up to a fountain, and thinks about how this guy absorbs everything in his path. But he then realizes he's in a bad place, as there's nothing around here for cover. He decides to move, but as soon as he does, Cream destroys part of his foot. The Stand rises up...

...as Vanilla Ice appears inside it. He says that he took Polnareff's leg out first, so he can't run away any more. He tells him he'll have to discipline him for stupidly thinking he could disobey Lord Dio. He asks where he wants to get hurt next, but Polnareff sends Silver Chariot out. He tries to attack, but Vanilla Ice and his Stand disappear before they can be hit. Polnareff has Silver Chariot smash open the fountain instead.

This causes water to spray everywhere, and Polnareff can see where Cream is moving. He has Silver Chariot attack again, but it doesn't do anything, and Cream nearly takes Polnareff's head off. He then sees that Silver Chariot's rapier was broken when it made contact with Cream. He thinks he can only cut Vanilla Ice when he's visible.

Back inside, Jotaro approaches Dio, despite Joseph telling him to wait. Jotaro starts running up the steps...

...but then suddenly finds himself at the bottom of them again. Dio asks him what's wrong, how long is he planning to take to come up here? Jotaro has Star Platinum start punching...

...only for the Stand to hit a wall instead. Dio asks him where he's attacking. Neither Jotaro or Joseph can understand what's going on. Dio tells Joseph that there's something he needs from him: he needs his fresh blood.

He explains that, from the neck down, this body belonged to his long standing enemy, Jonathan Joestar. It's not a comfortable fit just yet, and among all of the humans alive, Joseph is the Joestar family's oldest survivor. It means his blood is the closest to that of Jonathan's. Joseph tells Jotaro to run. Dio says that by sucking Joseph's fresh blood, he'll completely conquer his body, and 100 years of karma with the Joestar family will finally come to an end.

Joseph says he's the one Dio is after, and tells Jotaro to get away. Jotaro says why would he do that now, but Dio suddenly appears behind him. Dio tells him he should really listen to his elders say, but he has no intention of letting him get away that easily.

Jotaro turns around and tries to punch Dio with Star Platinum, but he is then suddenly hit and sent crashing out of the room. Joseph thinks this isn't about being fast, or playing tricks, it must be Dio's Stand: The World. Dio tells Joseph that for him, this marks the end.

Meanwhile, Polnareff continues to fight Vanilla Ice. The room they're in has been trashed, but he hasn't been able to land any hits on his enemy. Vanilla Ice briefly appears, and calls Polnareff persistent.

He has Cream hit the ceiling several times, causing it to break apart. Polnareff manages to drag himself out of the room just in time, but sees Vanilla Ice waiting for him. Polnareff thinks he can't move any more. Vanilla Ice tells him to be thankful to Avdol for extending his life, if only for a little while.

He tells him that if Avdol hadn't pushed him out of the way, they both would have been swallowed by the sub-dimension together. Avdol could have survived if he'd tried to escape by himself. He calls Avdol an idiot, and says that the more foolish you are, the younger you die. Polnareff still can't seem to get up, which Vanilla Ice mocks him for. He says this is the end, and tells him to die as he regrets his own stupidity.

He then hears something rumbling towards him, and looks to his left. The Fool suddenly appears, and smashes straight into him.

Vanilla Ice is sent flying into a wall, and collapses. Iggy has arrived, and Polnareff sees he's come to his rescue. He thought Iggy would be long gone by now, as he didn't even consider him his comrade.

He thanks Iggy, and tells him he's avenged Avdol... he just wishes he could have done that himself. But he then notices that Vanilla Ice is gone, and realizes he's still alive. He tells Iggy to run, but Iggy then gets torn in two by Cream.

Vanilla Ice appears, and tells Iggy how dare he defy Lord Dio. He screams at him to know his place, and then starts stomping on him before giving him a kick.

Iggy hits a wall, but as Vanilla Ice tells Polnareff to die, Polnareff sends out Silver Chariot. He has his Stand strike Vanilla Ice before Cream can consume him.

Polnareff tells him if he's that eager to pledge loyalty to Dio, he can do so in hell. Silver Chariot makes one more move, which strikes Vanilla Ice's head.

His head is sliced apart, killing him. Polnareff goes up to Iggy, but it's too late. He screams out Iggy's name.

Joseph stands in the sunlight, and has Hermit Purple sent out everywhere. Dio asks him if there's anything else he can do, as the sun is about to set. He asks him if he's ready.

Suddenly a burst of green projectiles strike though the wall. Joseph looks to his right, and sees Kakyoin is outside.

Kakyoin has his Stand attack with another emerald splash. As Dio backs away from the sunlight, Kakyoin swings in with his Stand, and saves Joseph. The two quickly get outside, and drop down.

They get back to the truck, and drive off. But Dio has survived, and watches them go.
