At Cybertron City, Ultra Magnus and Scattershot are monitoring the unusual seismic activity that is happening in the Andes mountains. The narrator explains where the mountains are and that the source of the tremors are in Peru.

VILLAGE OF PAN

In a village in Peru, a boy called Pipiro is walking back from the graves of his parents, and says hi to his grandparents on the way. He walks with his donkey, Koro. Pipiro meets up with Alyssa, his sister, but then starts to play with Koro. Alyssa warns that he'll get his clothes dirty, but then everything begins to shake -an earthquake has hit their village!

On Athenia, the Cybertrons are looking at the gas body that the Headmasters saw when they tried to retrieve the Sol-1 satellite. Highbrow zooms in on it and the shadows of what seems to be a large city appears. Chromedome believes that it must be a Destron fortress of some kind. Twincast sends out Steeljaw and Amhorn to investigate further.

On Jaar, Scorponok tells Sixshot failure shall not be an option on this mission. Sixshot says the Destron Headmasters are ready. Scorponok wants the Cybertrons to be distracted on Earth for as long as possible, so they do not become aware of the construction project on planet Zarak.

PLANET ZARAK

On Zarak, some captured Beastformers are being made to work on Scorponok's new body. Octane stands guard and makes sure to whip anyone who starts slacking.

EARTH
ANDES MOUNTAIN AREA

Back in Peru a volcano suddenly erupts and the entire town starts to evacuate. Pipiro moves out with Koro, and Alyssa follows with Koro's mother, Dodo. Hearing of the disaster happening in Peru, the Trainbots and Protectbots are sent out to rescue the civilians from the lava.

Sixshot finds out that some Cybertrons are heading to Peru, but is glad they are. When the Cybertrons arrive, the Animatrons are already waiting for them. Razorclaw says they won't be going a step further, but Hot Spot wants to fight them. However, Shouki tells the Protectbots to leave this to them. As the Protectbots leave, the Trainbots fight the Animatrons.

It doesn't take long for the two teams unite into their super robot forms. Meanwhile, the Protectbots head towards the villagers, only to be stopped by the arrival of the three Destron Headmasters.

The Protectbots transform into Guardian, but Mindwipe has a way of dealing with him. Hitting him with a couple "snake gun" blasts, his shots paralyze Guardian.

With Guardian not able to move, the Destron Headmasters kick him to the ground, where he smashes into his component parts.

Back at Cybertron City, Ultra Magnus and Silverbolt watch as the Destron Headmasters move in to fight Raiden. Silverbolt suggests sending more troops, but Ultra Magnus doesn't want to leave their city unprotected. He instead contacts the Cybertrons on Athenia. Soon, the Cybertron Headmasters, Wheelie, Spike and Daniel get onboard Broadside.

Broadside heads to Earth, unaware that Laserbeak has seen their movements. Laserbeak quickly heads back to Jaar, and Soundblaster reports his findings to Scorponok. Scorponok says everything is going to plan. As he walks off, Cyclonus asks Soundblaster what their new leader meant by that. Soundblaster tells him and Scourge that the likes of them don't need to know.

Broadside arrives in Peru and drops off the Cybertron Headmasters. Chromedome tells him to save the villagers, whilst he and the others help out Raiden. They then transform and roll out, and are soon fighting against their Destron counterparts. Broadside attempts to get past the volcano, but the eruption is so great that he is forced to turn back.

He lands and Wheelie, Daniel and Spike get out. The Trainbots transform back to their individual robot modes, and then transform into trains. They pick up Wheelie, Daniel and Spike, and then try and get past the volcano. They eventually manage it by going high up into the air to go over it.

Back at the battle a thick red cloud appears, which has appeared due to the amount of ash in the air. Chromedome says that they can use this to their advantage and he gets Brainstorm to do something called the whirlwind technique where he spins around a lot in his jet mode, creating a whirlwind which stuns the Destrons. Chromedome goes to help out the villagers whilst the others deal with the enemy.

With the Trainbots managing to get past the volcano, they land and the villagers start to climb onboard. With everyone on the Trainbots take off just in time as the lava engulfs the town, destroying it completely. Meanwhile the Cybertrons prove to be too strong and Weirdwolf has all of the Destrons retreat.

The Trainbots get away safely, and Chromedome says they only just made it. Pipiro says that the town he and his sister were raised in is now gone forever. Landing some distance away, Chromedome and the others survey the volcano. Chromedome says the Destrons were behind the eruption, as they somehow exploded the magma. He thinks they did this on purpose so they were lured away from that planet they were investigating earlier.

On Jaar, Cyclonus says he just doesn't understand Lord Scorponok's plans. The Earth is an important energy supply. If they keep doing things like this, the planet will become useless. Scorponok overhears them and says he doesn't care about the Earth. He's found another source of energy. When planet Cybertron exploded, it released a great deal of plasma energy. He is collecting this energy and wants to use it as an eternal energy source. The time for him to show his true form is coming, and when that happens, Fortress and the Cybertron Headmasters will die. All they need to do is shut up and follow his orders.

As Scorponok leaves the room, Cyclonus and Scourge hear Soundblaster outside. They go and take a look and see him shooting at Steeljaw and Amhorn, who have been spying on the Destrons. The two cassettes escape. Meanwhile in Peru, Daniel, Wheelie and Pipiro are playing with Koro until the donkey goes missing in a bush.

They try to find him but the Decepticon Headmasters pop up and grab both Koro and Pipiro. Before the Autobots can attack Mindwipe points a gun at Pipiro's head and says if anyone moves, Pipiro dies. Weirdwolf then tells Chromedome to show them how the whirlwind technique works, but then Dodo charges straight into Skullcruncher.

This distraction lets Chromedome shoot Mindwipe, and as he drops his gun, Brainstorm kicks him down. He drops Pipiro, but he is caught by Highbrow.

Another fight then begins, but it doesn't take long for the Cybertron Headmasters to make the Destrons retreat, permanently this time. The Cybertrons are impressed with the donkey, who was brave enough to attack the Destrons. It seems the animals of this planet are just as amazing as the humans.

Having saved the villagers, it is time for the Cybertrons to go back to Athenia. Saying there goodbyes, Alyssa gives Chromedome a necklace as a thank you gift. As the Trainbots leave, the villagers shout their thank yous and goodbyes.

The Trainbots arrive back on Athenia. Inside the base, Twincast reveals to the others what Steeljaw and Amhorn found out -that Scorponok intends to reveal his true form soon. The narrator then ends the episode by asking what are Scorponok's plans and that the Autobots must be determined to stop him.

NOTES

Broadside just vanishes after dropping off Spike and the others. The Protectbots also never come back after Mindwipe blasts them. All of these characters will show up in future episodes however.
