At some mountains, Terry has resumed training. He throws out a power wave.

The power wave blows away part of a nearby forest. Tony thinks Terry has completely recovered! Terry smiles.

Back at the hotel, Krauser's room has been trashed. Krauser tells Joe he's made a mess of his room, but he was entertaining. As thanks, he tells him to stay as long as he'd like. Krauser laughs, then walks off. Joe apologizes to Terry, as he couldn't avenge him.

Terry and Tony have setup camp. Terry thinks his speed and and power have recovered, but it's not enough. He wonders what to do, how can he beat Krauser? He then hears Lily, who suddenly appears next to him. He asks her what he should do, but she doesn't know. She asks if he really has to fight Krauser.

Terry tells her his whole life is devoted to fighting. Since childhood, his only goal was to be the best, and avenging his father didn't change that. Now he can't live without fighting, but Krauser is strong. That's why he has to beat him -he has to. Lily thinks that if she had lived, perhaps she could have turned him toward other goals. Terry then hears Tung's voice, and sees him standing next to him. Tung tells him not to worry about this battle. He can feel both the chi and the affection of Mother Earth.

He tells Terry to clear his mind and open his soul to the Earth, as then the path will open. Tony suddenly wakes up and asks Terry if he's still awake. Terry says he's going to sleep now, but as he puts out the fire, he thanks Lily.

The next morning, Terry runs out of a store and tells Tony they aren't going to Germany. He tells him to look at the paper, so he does. Tony reads that Joe Higashi is in critical condition, and his title match has been postponed. Terry says that Joe has 24 broken bones, and only one man could have done that to Joe. Terry says they'll go and find Joe.

Later on, Terry and Tony arrive at the hospital, where Mai is. Mai introduces herself, and when Terry hears her name, he says she must be related to Andy's master. Mai tells him that Hanzo Shiranui is her grandfather. Terry asks how Joe is doing, and Mai says he has two dozen broken bones, along with severe damage to his internal organs. The doctor has said it's a miracle that he's still alive.

Joe wakes up and asks if Terry is there. Terry says he's here, and Joe says he knew it was him, he felt his strength when he came in. He tells Terry that it sounds like he's completely recovered, and Terry says he has, thanks to him and Tony. Joe asks him if he thinks he can beat Krauser, but Terry tells him not to talk. Joe tells him to find Andy, who is waiting at the usual place. He then says he's going to rest for a while, so Terry tells him to get some sleep.

Terry then asks Mai to look after Joe, and she says she will -Andy asked her the exact same thing. Terry thanks her, then he and Tony leave. They head off on the bike, and Tony asks where the usual place is. Terry says it's their home town, and they find Andy waiting next to Jeff's grave. Andy says he's been waiting for them.

Terry tells him they'll go now, so they head off to another place. Tony is taken aback when he sees...

...the giant statues. Terry says this is where he and Andy trained, when they were his age. Andy wants to begin, and the two assume their fighting stances. Tony asks why they're going to fight each other.

Terry says that to defeat Krauser, they'll have to be completely ruthless, like ravenous wolves. Andy says that in order to become wolves, they must be willing to fight each other without pity. The fight begins, as Andy...

...and Terry block each other's strikes. This happens with the first few moves, but then the two manage to hit each other.

Terry tells Andy that was a perfect shot, and Andy says the same thing to him. It looks like he's completely recovered, and Terry says he hopes so. The two resume fighting, landing several hits on each other.

The fight goes on, but Tony tells Terry and Andy to stop it -they're going to kill each other! Terry thinks he's close, he almost understands what Tung said to him. Andy tells his brother it's time to end this, and rushes forward. He uses his super rending blast bullet technique.

This hits Terry, knocking him back. Andy says this is the end, and charges forward to use his splitting shadow fist. But before he can, Terry rises up...

...then hits the ground, creating an enormous energy blast that hits Andy, defeating him.

Terry tells Andy to hold on, but Andy says he's lost. He asks what that technique was just now, and Terry says he unconsciously came up with it. It was a technique that Andy has helped him discover. Andy says he was sure he'd be able to beat him this time, but now he guesses he's the only one who can defeat Krauser. Terry says he'll try. He picks Andy up and repeats that he'll try.

Sometime later, Terry and Tony have arrived in Germany. As they watch the sun rise, Terry says this may be the last time he ever sees this. Tony tells him not to say that, he's going to win! That's why he's come so far. Terry tells him he's right, and the two ride off.

At Krauser's castle, Krauser tells Sebastian, one of his servants, about a dream he has this morning. He dreamed of his father, who tried to tell him something, but he couldn't hear him. He's never had something like this happen before, so it's concerning. Sebastian wonders if it's some sort of premonition, but Krauser says he doesn't know. His teacup then suddenly shatters, and whilst Sebastian says he'll go and get another, Krauser laughs. He thinks this is going to be a unique day, he can hardly wait.

He gets up and tells Sebastian that he'll be in the great hall, so if guests arrive, he's to show them in. Outside, Terry and Tony arrive at the castle. The drawbridge is lowered, and they see Sebastian waiting for them.

Sebastian leads them to the great hall, where Krauser is playing the organ. He stops when he realizes Terry has arrived, and tells him he knew he'd come here. It seems he's grown since they last met, so he's glad he let him live. He gets up and tells him to entertain him. Terry tells him he was so afraid of him, and had hoped to never see him again. But he's conquered his fear, and says he'll beat him, even if it kills him.

Krauser says that men such as themselves cannot live without combat -they're exactly alike. Terry tells him to shut up, and tries to use his burn knuckle against him. Krauser grabs his wrist, and asks if he's saying he's wrong.

He kicks Terry, but Terry comes straight back and tries to kick him back. Krauser grabs his leg and throws him to the floor.

Terry jumps up and charges into Krauser, but bounces off of him. Krauser knees him, and Terry lands. Terry then uses the wave motion whirlwind kick, but Krauser also uses it.

The two tornados clash again, and Terry takes several hits. He gets sent flying into a pillar.

Krauser asks him what's wrong -surely he can do better than that? But then part of his armor shatters, and he says that finally, someone worthy of his full strength! He tells Terry here he comes, and charges forward.

He hits Terry with several powerful strikes, which end with Terry falling down.

Terry gets up, just in time to avoid being stomped on. He tries using the burn knuckle again, but Krauser avoids it and hits him three more times.

Terry yells out and does a spin kick, and whilst Krauser avoids the first kick, Terry manages to hit him with the second. Krauser wipes the blood from his mouth and looks at it. He says he's forgotten how good this feels, the sweet pain of combat!

He summons a projectile called the blitz ball into one of his hands, and asks Terry what he's going to do. He throws the blitz ball, but Terry avoids it. Krauser says he won't miss again, and throws two blitz balls out.

Terry uses his burn knuckle to destroy them both, but then falls to his knees. Krauser tells him he's the first man to ever stop the blitz ball, so out of respect for his skill, he'll show him his greatest technique. He starts to gather energy into his arms, and tells Terry this has been a genuine pleasure. He thanks him, then says goodbye to him...

...as he throws out his ultimate attack, the kaiser wave! But Terry counter it with his new technique: the power geyser!

Krauser doesn't understand what's happening, but his kaiser wave is destroyed, and he is then hit by the power geyser. He gets blasted into the organ, which falls apart.

But he remains standing. His armor has been shattered, but he tells Terry that he's even managed to reflect his kaiser wave. His entire body is now trembling with excitement, he can feel his blood burning as it rushes through his veins! He laughs, then charges towards Terry. Terry heads right at him.

The two punch each other in the face, then kick each other in the same place.

Tony watches as Terry and Krauser hit each other, over and over again.

Krauser goes for one last punch, only for Terry to stop it. He punches Krauser in the gut.

He hits him several more times, causing Krauser to heavily bleed. Krauser says it looks like he's lost, but he doesn't regret this. It has been over 10 years since he's fought like this.

But he won't live in disgrace, having been defeated in his own castle. He bids farewell to Terry, and then falls out of a hole in the wall. As he falls, he thinks of his father, and sheds a single tear.

He hits the water, and sinks into the depths. Nearby, Hopper is on a boat, and has seen everything.

Tony tries to say something, but Terry asks him if he sees now -fighting doesn't fill the emptiness. He says it's time for them to go home, so they leave the castle.

Geese calls Krauser a fool. He removes his bandages, and starts laughing.

Terry and Tony arrive at a train station. Terry says this is where they say goodbye, and as Tony gets out of the sidecar, he sees that his mother is here. He runs over to her and asks how she got here, and she says Terry told her -he even sent her a ticket.

Tony says he'll take good care of his mom, and someday he'll learn to be as strong as Terry is! As he says sayonara to Terry, Terry removes his hat, and throws it.

"OKAY!"
