However in this dialogue, Annet seemingly says she was adopted by the Meiya clan and the pendant was a gift from whomever looked after her... this appears to be a retcon, potentially to make the "Annet loves Earnest" plot featured in this game less creepy. Or it could just be carelessness on Wolf Team's part. You choose...)

Zigfried: Yes. I probed the Princess' consciousness directly, and it appears she had an ally inside the castle.

Richtenreich: It is of no matter. By the way, now that we are alone... isn't it a little strange for us to be talking this way? Or are you enjoying this charade, perhaps?
