December 29th, 1994

-The intro is different, and features several Tempos (who get closer and closer to the screen) that go through some dance moves. The intro slows down a lot, which causes an issue with the music not synching up right.

-The title screen is a mess, with black bars around menu options. The build date is visible in the top left corner.

-Whilst you can enter the password screen in this build, you cannot leave it.

-Some of the buildings seen in the background of the options menu don't move.

-The stage select is missing the audience and camera crew. Tempo will remain in his stationary animation the entire time, although the animation frames cycle way too fast. Katy can also be seen at the very top of the stage, but she won't do anything.

-You can play the bonus games at any time.

-There are a huge amount of differences in each level when compared to the final video. For a much more detailed list of changes, check out this page of the Cutting Room Floor.

-The ending sequence isn't in place yet.

January 21st, 1995

-The intro has been updated, and has several new scenes, all of which made it into the final version.

-The password screen now lets you exit from it.

-The stage select has been updated. The audience and camera crew are now in place, but each side of the screen has slightly glitchy graphics.

-The bonus games have had their descriptions changed to "MOVE THE RYTHM".

January 24th, 1995

-The intro and title screen have been updated so the black boxes around the text are gone.

-In the Indigestion Performace level, the polar bear's teeth now move faster than they did in the previous builds, and match the final version. They can also now hurt you.

January 26th, 1995

-You can no longer skip the SEGA logo.

-The intro has had another slight update, and starts with a black screen.

February 4th, 1995

-The intro has been updated yet again. The black screen now has lots of stars on it, like in the final version.

-The copyright info and build date no longer appear on the intro.

-A voice now says "Tempo!" at the title screen.

-The buildings in the option menu now bounce up and down.

-There is now an extra music track played at the stage select screen.

-The bonus games now cost coins to play.

There are also prototypes for the 6th and 7th of February, which need more looking into.
