The first ever Hokuto no Ken game was released in Japan in May of 1986.
Violence Gekiga Adventure is an adventure game, where Kenshiro and Bat have to enter Southern Cross to defeat Shin and find Yuria. The developers of the game, Enix, published the extremely popular Dragon Quest series. This game has never been released outside of Japan, and as of 2012 there is no English patched version available. In fact, there seems to be some kind of secret mission to keep information about this game to a minimum, as videos about it on Youtube get taken down frequently and I couldn't find many screenshots for it at all -I've had to steal the ones on this page from this site.

1) Gameplay
Gameplay involves looking for clues and hints on where to go next and how to defeat enemies. For whatever reason, Kenshiro cannot know which pressure points he needs to hit on an opponent without finding out what they are before hand, and can find this information out by asking certain villagers. Enemies include Shin's troops and Generals, such as Spade, Club and Heart. Shin is the game's final boss. Battle sequences involves selecting a certain pressure point you want to hit, but it may not do any damage if it is the wrong point.
