-From Rage Quitter 87's Fist of the North Star site

ADV, also known as ADV Films, was once the largest anime distributor in North America. And then on September 1st, 2009, the company announced it was selling off its assets, including intellectual properties, to several different companies. The only involvement this company had with Fist of the North Star was when it released New Fist of the North Star on DVD (known as Shin Hokuto no Ken in Japan). These DVDs were available in American and the United Kingdom.

List of ADV's New Fist of the North Star DVD releases:

	New Fist of the North Star Volume 1: The Cursed City! Released: 24th September, 2004 Contains the first episode. It has the option of either the original Japanese dub with English subtitles, or you can watch it with a new English dub. All of the other volumes feature this.
	New Fist of the North Star Volume 2: The Forbidden Fist Released: 2nd November, 2004 Contains the second episode.
	New Fist of the North Star Volume 3: When a Man Carries Sorrow Released: 24th December, 2004 Contains the third episode.
	New Fist of the North Star: Complete Collection Released: 2007 Contains all three episodes on three discs, with a larger box than usual and a reversible cover. Special features include interviews, character bios and more. The cover art for this seems to be different in the UK, as it features the same art used for When a Man Carries Sorrow.
