Kenshiro resumes his fight with Baran.

Baran tells Luseli that if she follows the same path as his sister, she will die. To crush her obsession, he wants to become something even greater than God. If he had become that earlier, his sister would have taken the medicine and still be alive now. Luseli begs Baran to stop, as all he is doing will not bring Yuuka back, and would have only saddened her. Satora also asks Baran to stop, as he does not need him to protect Luseli. Baran says Satora is weak, and he would not be able to protect her. Kenshiro watches as Baran performs a Hokuto Shinken technique, Hokuto Goushou Ha (North Star Iron Palm Wave) which hits Satora and sends him flying.



Baran boasts that he can beat people like Satora without even having to physically touch them, and that you must be strong. Without him, Luseli would not be protected. Satora is still alive and weakly says that no man has even been able to replace God. Baran says that was one man -his name was Ken-Oh, the conqueror! Ken realises that Baran must have learnt his techniques from Raoh, whilst Ryu realises Baran must have known his father. Ken says that Baran will have to defeat him before he can become a God. Baran attacks again, but Ken grabs his fist and crushes it, saying it is nothing compared to Raoh's.



Ken explains that Raoh was a man who gave up his might for love, and that he wished to rule the world, but failed. Baran does not believes him and uses the Hokuto Goushou Ha, only for Ken to not take any damage for it. Kenshiro decides to show Baran the real version of the technique, and hits with with a two handed version of the move. Baran is defeated instantly, as Kenshiro explains to Baran what happened during his final fight with him.
