One Motivated by Hatred!

Kenshiro confronts Baran.

Luseli has explained the same story to Baran that Satora told Kenshiro. But Baran says that one of his spies told him the only reason Satora changed was because a man from the North appeared, he didn't change his ways by his own accord. Luseli just says that is the will of God -God sent this man from the North to change Satora's heart. Baran becomes furious, hating the fact she mentioned God, and he thinks about someone he knew. He then shatters the room, but calms down when one of his troops appears and tells him that Satora has arrived in Blanca -and he is with someone else.



Kenshiro beats up any guards he come across, as he, Ryu and Satora head to Baran's room. They enter it and see Luseli chained up next to a window. Satora instantly dashes forward, despite Ken's warning to wait, but before he can get to her, a hand grabs his head before throwing him to the floor. Baran has appeared and says he can kill Satora at any time, but his real opponent is the other man with him: Kenshiro. If he kills this messenger from God, Luseli's faith in God will be shattered. Ken tells Satora to stay back, as he will fight Baran. It was a promise he made to Kai.



Kenshiro sees that Baran is using Hokuto Shinken -as he blocks techniques called Shichi Ten Shou (Seven Point Palm) and Zanei Katsu Ken (Remnant Scorpion Fist). Baran tells Luseli her prayers are useless, as she asks why he spites God so badly. Baran say it isn't spite, it is hate. He hates God. He explains that he use to have a little sister called Yuuka, who was ill. Baran got her some medicine, but she refused to take it after she realised he had had to hurt or even kill someone to get it. Baran didn't know what to do, but Yuuka told him to just pray to God with her, and to pray that she would recover. However, back in the present, Baran explains that all he got from God was one thing: Yuuka's death.
