An Oath of Fists and Blood!

Ryu takes Kenshiro back to his foster parent's village, where disaster strikes.

Kenshiro and Ryu return to Ryu's small village, and meet Risseki, a elderly man who has been looking after Ryu in Kenshiro's absence. Ken asks Risseki about how Ryu's foster parents are doing, but he doesn't give much of an answer. As he can Ken are about to go on a journey, Ryu wants to go and say goodbye to his foster parents first, and knows that they aren't in this village. Ken and Ryu head towards some mountains, and Ryu explains that a few years a go there was a contagious disease in his village, and the infected got kicked out. His foster mother got the disease, and his foster father went with her to a place where all the sick people were quarantined. Ken and Ryu arrive at this place.



Ryu sees his foster mother, but she is scared he will get the disease and locks herself in her home. His foster father, Hakuri, appears and tells Ryu to go, but he then sees Kenshiro. He explains that he is the only healthy man in the village, and has managed to transform the place into a land where good crops can be grown. Whilst he could still get sick, he says he doesn't care and is fine living here with his wife. Just then they hear an explosion and turn around to see a building on fire. Hakuri runs over to it, but gets shot and killed by several flaming arrows almost immediately.



A gang of men are attacking the village, saying that their master, Kouketsu, will be pleased with them. They believe that by burning parts of the land and the people on it, that they can take it over and not be worried about getting sick. As Kenshiro easily defeats them, Ryu runs into the burning house of his foster mother, only to find her trapped under some rubble. He removes it, but she is clearly going to die and guys him, saying that she wanted to do this one last time. As she dies, Ryu becomes angry and saddened as Kenshiro finds him. Ken asks if he hates those punks and if he wants to kill them. Ryu says he does, so Ken takes Ryu's knife and breaks it -he'll kill them with the boiling blood of Raoh and his own two fists.
