Kenshiro cannot believe it -Yuria still lives?! At the castle of the last remaining Nanto general, Yuria stands without her helmet on. She is thinking about Juuza, the man who loved her, and the one she asked to face Raoh.

When Juuza found out that she was still alive, he swore that he would give his life to protect her. Yuria tried to speak but Juuza stopped her, saying that she doesn't need to say anything else now. He then left to face his destiny.

After that little flashback, Yuria notices that those two stars she has seen before are shining once more. Meanwhile, Raoh has hit one of Juuza's pressure points, and is demanding to know who the last General is.

If Juuza doesn't tell him, he will just bleed to death. Will Juuza crack?

Nobody can still believe it -Kenshiro knows that Yuria had killed herself at Southern Cross. But Fudo explains that she did not die in that city, as he and the other Nanto Goshasei saved her life and helped to hide her, as she is very important.

How did they save her? Fudo begins his story as we enter a flashback with Yuria and Shin. Saying that she could no longer tolerate Shin's evil actions, she jumped off the fortress and plummeted down towards the burning city below. As she fell, she said sorry for not being able to keep her promise to Ken of keeping herself alive.

Shin raced down to the bottom of his fortress -did she really hate him that much?! He prayed that she was somehow still alive, no matter how hurt she is, as long as she wasn't dead it'll be enough. As he stepped outside he can't believe it -Yuria was laid out on her back, and didn't appear to be harmed in any way.

Shin nervously stretched out his arm, but was overjoyed when he realised that he could feel Yuria's heart still beating. But he also realised that he wasn't alone and turned to see three figures who say they had saved Yuria. After introducing themselves, Rihaku told Shin that whilst they have saved Yuria's life, they have also come to take her to safety as she is the one that they must protect -she is the last General of Nanto!

Shin said he could protect Yuria by himself. But Rihaku told him that she must come with them, as there was a far greater danger that Shin was not aware of: Raoh. The Nanto Goshasei had learnt that Raoh was heading towards Southern Cross. Shin had heard of Raoh, but upon hearing Rihaku's words, even he had to pause and think for a moment. Hyuui and Shuren then ran into the city, with some important news.

The duo had found out that Raoh and his army were now dangerously close to Southern Cross and that they had also learnt what Raoh intended to do. He was going to wait and see what happened after Kenshiro and Shin inevitably fought each other, then he would move in.

Rihaku told Shin that if Raoh reached Southern Cross, there was no telling what could happen. If he captured Yuria, he would try and make her love him, should she refuse, she would be killed. But if he thinks that Yuria is already dead, it would work well for them. Shin knew that if he beat Kenshiro, he would not have the energy to immediately fight Raoh afterwards. He touched Yuria's face with his hand and she suddenly spoke...

"K...Ken..."

Shin was upset that Yuria said Ken's name and not his own, but he knew what he had to do. He passed Yuria to Fudo and then began to walk back towards his fortress, telling that Nanto Goshasei to just leave and get out of Southern Cross. If Raoh thought Yuria was dead, he would not go looking for her. Fudo was surprised Shin would do this, but Shin told him to keep Yuria alive. He would take the blame for Yuria's "death".

There was no better way for him to fight Kenshiro. Either way, he or Kenshiro will one day stand before Yuria, so she must not die before then. Shin then walked away as Rihaku commented on his sad fate.

With the story explained, Fudo says that after the Goshasei left Southern Cross, they returned to that Nanto Capital as Yuria started her destiny as the last General of the Nanto Roku Seiken. He then tells Ken to go to the capital and meet Yuria before it is too late, as Raoh will surely have also found out that Yuria is still alive by now.

Roah hasn't actually found this information out yet, but he is determined too as he continues to prolong Juuza's suffering. He again tells him to reveal who the last Nanto General is or otherwise he'll die, but Juuza remains silent.

He is thinking about the past, and thinking about the time when Kenshiro took Yuria away. Juuza was watching from the ruins of a castle, and could only whisper her name.

Yuria seemed to hear something, as she turned around and looked back at the ruins. But she could not see anyone, and just turned back around and started to walk off with Kenshiro. Juuza had hidden himself so she couldn't see him, as he knew full well the reason why they could never be together.

Back in the present, Raoh is getting impatient, and gives Juuza one last chance. Juuza begins to mouth something, so Raoh brings him closer. He tells Juuza to go ahead and spit it out.

"Raoh...you are a fucking idiot..."

Disgusted with his vulgarity, Raoh tosses Juuza to the ground and attempts to destroy him, but it seems he is still going to go down fighting, avoiding the attack. Even so, Juuza is still badly injured, as a pressure point on one of his shoulders explodes.

Juuza says he is like a cloud, moving freely and doing as he pleases. Raoh says that if he wants to death so badly, he will give it to him. He will find out who the last General is, even if he has to rip the mask off. Juuza sees that Raoh just wants everything by force, and whilst he certainly is strong, he shouldn't assume everything will go his way. Raoh tells him he can regret those words when he is in hell, and starts fighting him once more.

The two clash again, and Raoh is surprised at how much power Juuza still has, despite his injuries. Juuza just thinks about Kenshiro, and hopes he gets to Yuria.

Kenshiro runs towards the capital, still slightly shocked that Yuria is still alive. He then sees the Nanto capital, but also sees a large army of Raoh's waiting. He tells them to get out of the way.

Back at the fight, Raoh keeps trying to smash Juuza, but he keeps avoiding his punches. Juuza lands a flying kick on Raoh, but it is blocked.

Juuza knows that his life is about to end and dashes straight towards his opponent, bidding Yuria farewell. Raoh says he will show Juuza his ultimate secret technique, and does a barrage of punches that ends with a powerful uppercut, sending Juuza flying.

Both Yuria and Lin suddenly feel something. Raoh stands over Juuza, but then turns around and starts to walk away from him.

He suddenly senses something and turns around again to find Juuza back up on his feet and heading straight towards him! The two clash their heads together.

This causes the ground around them to crack, as Juuza still seems to be alive. He jumps high up into the air and charges towards Raoh, causing some minor cuts to him.

Juuza then starts to walk towards Raoh, but Raoh just waits. Raoh's troops have no idea to what is going on, is Juuza still alive? Raoh goes to punch Juuza, but stops his fist just in front of his opponent's face. Seconds later, Juuza falls down once more, with his chest have sustained heavy injuries.

Even in death, Juuza went down fighting. But now he has finally passed away completely. Yuria starts to cry, somehow knowing that Juuza is dead. A terrific death for him, Raoh states, but Kokuoh then trots up and starts to kick dirt over his body. It seems the horse wants Juuza to be buried here. Raoh says that he understands Kokuoh's feelings, as Juuza was the only other man to ever ride him other than Raoh himself. Raoh tells his troops to get on with that task.

Whilst Juuza never told him who the last Nanto General was, Raoh has worked it out by himself due to his actions. He and Kokuoh depart at top speed. Meanwhile, Kenshiro is still on the way to the Nanto capital, but his progress is slow due to the sheer amount of troops he is having to kill to clear a path.

Back with Raoh, he now knows that Yuria is the last General and that by meeting with her, the Hokuto and Nanto stars will be bought together. Rihaku receives a message and learns of Juuza's fate. There is no time to grieve for him though as whilst Kenshiro is on the way to the capital, so is Raoh.

Nobody knows who is going to get here first, so he orders all of the troops to prepare themselves for battle. Elsewhere in the capital, Yuria says that all she can do now is wait for Kenshiro. Tou tells her that it isn't all she can do. As long as she is alive, she inspires hope in people and that because of her, the Hokuto and Nanto stars will become one, bringing peace back to the land. Kenshiro. Raoh. And now, Yuria. What is going to happen next?
