Rei, Mamiya and Bat have finally found the village of miracles...but the name doesn't really do it justice as far as they are concerned. Bat hopes Lin is OK if she is here, but then they see Pel running towards them. Bat is glad to see the little dog and knows that Lin must be somewhere around here. They see Pel looking and barking towards a large building not that far away. Rei says that Lin must be in there and they wonder what else could also be inside. The group heads towards it.

What is going on inside? Well, Kenshiro and Toki are ready to fight each other. Toki doubts that Kenshiro would be able to fight the man who has helped him out so much before, as that is the kind of weakling he is, but Ken proves him wrong by slashing him across the face and making him bleed. All Kenshiro can hear from him now is the cries of the ones he has killed in his quest to perfect Hokuto Shinken.

Kenshiro then hits Toki with lots of punches and much to his surprise, he is unable to block them! He gets hit back and he doesn't understand why he couldn't even see his opponent's punches, how could have have gotten this good? As he gets back up he has even more reason to worry, as Kenshiro has completely vanished.

Ken appears behind him and uses his fingers to poke straight through Toki's hands. As Toki stumbles back he realises that he may no longer be a match for him any more as Kenshiro starts to walk forward to finish him off. Toki then hears Yuu's mother crying over the loss of her husband and he gets a good idea: he grabs her and holds her hostage whilst telling Ken what his greatest weakness is: compassion for others.

With that he leaps up into the air, using the women as a shield and telling Ken that if he wants to kill him he will have to also kill this woman, something he knows he won't be able to do. As they land Ken grabs the women, but leaves himself open for Toki to make his move -something he does by hitting pressure points on Ken's back.

Ken cannot move -Toki has stuck a pressure point he discovered known as "Sen-Yoh". Toki finally has the test dummy that he wanted so badly and decides to give him a trial run by smacking him around a bit.

Rei, Mamiya and Bat are nearly at the entrance to the large building when a few axes are thrown in their direction. Rei tells the attackers to reveal themselves and Toki's personnel guard appears, led by a man with red hair. Rei recognises this man and vice versa -the guard leader's name is Nevada, and Rei hasn't seen him for a while. Rei says that if Nevada is here, then...well he doesn't get a chance to finish his sentence as an angry Nevada tells his troops to kill the trio.

Rei starts to slice people apart via his Nanto Suicho Ken techniques, whilst Mamiya helps out with her bladed yoyos. But even Bat gets in on the action for once, hitting a guy in the face.

"You are already dead. In three seconds...three...two...one!"

"Arghh!!!"

"What?"

Rei and Mamiya take care of the enemy troops and soon only Nevada himself is left. Rei gives him a choice: either he can take them directly to Toki, or he can die.

Meanwhile, Toki is enjoying having the upper hand and after delivering the odd punch or two he tells him that rage isn't the thing that moves his fists, it is desire -and Toki's desire is to guide the Hokuto Shinken style into something even more powerful than it already is, and make it the ultimate killing art. He considers himself to be the true successor to Hokuto Shinken now, and decides it is finally time to start experimenting on Kenshiro. But the pair then hear a lot of noise outside the room.

Nevada crashes through the door and cannot even start to speak properly before his head splits into pieces. Toki realises that it was a Nanto Suicho Ken move which killed him, and turns around to see someone else walking into the room.

Rei walks in and tells Kenshiro that this man is not Toki -his name is actually Amiba. Amiba and Nevada used to go to the Nanto school and were always causing trouble together. Rei found out from Nevada before he killed him that Amiba deliberately changed his appearance to look like Toki, going as far as giving himself the great big scar on his back. Amiba admits that he isn't Toki, but he still intends to kill Kenshiro. He will then live on as Toki, the true successor to Hokuto Shinken.

After tripping Ken and causing him to fall flat on his face, Amiba keeps stomping on Ken's head and telling him to lick his boots clean. Lin tells Rei to help Ken, but Rei stays back and says that there is no way Amiba's phony Hokuto Shinken could possibly defeat Kenshiro. He then says he has heard that users of Hokuto Shinken can develop the power to block the effects of having their own pressure points pressed. And with that Kenshiro starts to ripple with energy and begin to move!

Ken gets up and says that if the real Toki has struck his pressure points, he never would have been able to break free. Amiba takes offence in this remark and believes Ken is telling him that he isn't as skilled as Toki, and decides to prove him wrong.

YOH SOH SANKAKU KYAKU

(Hawk Talon Triangle Kick)

Ken easily dodges this move and strikes Amiba twice in different places on his body. As he gets back up he tells his guards to go and attack Ken and the others, but they have had enough and refuse to take any more orders from him. They thought they were following the real Toki -now that they know that they aren't, they throw down their weapons and release Lin. It seems to be all over and Rei asks what he plans to do next.

Kenshiro still wants to know why he impersonated Toki in the first place -"because he hit me in my face, that's why!" is the response. Amiba explains that one day, he arrived in the village of miracles and heard of this man who was curing anyone who was sick. Believing that he could also do that, Amiba decided to help out people and found a guy with an injured leg. Toki had already helped the man, who was just waiting for the effect to finish, but Amiba decided to provide a further helping hand and hit one of his pressure points. This puts the man into a lot of pain.

As Amiba pondered on what he did wrong, Toki showed up and saw what was going on. He hit Amiba out of the way and healed the man. However, Amiba was angry.

Amiba was so angry he tried to attack Toki but failed, and was told not to try and use an art that he had not fully learnt yet. Toki then walked away, but Amiba was so enraged with what just happened he just had to get revenge.

In a way, Amiba has won -he has ruined Toki's image. This makes Ken even angrier, but Amiba has something else to show him. After studying the pressure points on the body has has discovered some that, when pressed, greatly increase a man's strength and he proceeds to hit them on his own body, bulking up his muscles and making him a lot bigger. This is Amiba's version of Hokuto Shinken and against this style, Kenshiro can't possibly win.

Amiba decides that he will continue to experiment on Ken and is about to attack when Ken questions how he will do that with such big hands. Amiba doesn't get what he is talking about until he takes a look at his palms and sees that they have enlarged so much that they then explode!

This also shrinks him back down to his normal size as Ken says that Hokuto Shinken has a 2000 year history. Scum like him could certainly never master it. This is then followed by a multiple punch attack.

HOKUTO SHINKEN OUGI: ZANKAI SEKIHO KEN

(North Star Divine Fist Secret Technique: Burden of Regret Punch)

This technique results in Amiba no longer being in control of his own legs, making him walk backwards. He can't stop himself and soon everyone has moved outside as Amiba continues to walk back to a ledge. Amiba wants help, but Mamiya points out that if he really is a genius, he should be able to hit points on himself to stop the effects of Kenshiro's technique.

This leads to Amiba rather hilariously flailing his arms around, trying to hit pressure points with hands that he no longer has any more. He tells them that if he dies now, they will never know where the real Toki is, but Ken doesn't even care and tells him to just hurry up and die. Amiba still can't believe that this has happened to a genius like himself but it is too late -he falls off, saying his last words.

"Lord Ken-Oh!"

Not even getting to simply just fall to his death, Amiba is split in half before he lands. But his final words present a bigger mystery: who is Ken-Oh (Fist King)? Rei says that he has heard of the name and he is meant to be a man of great power who is trying to rule the world, but nobody seems to know his true identity. But they do not have time to worry about this as they need to find where the real Toki is, as Ken is sure that he is waiting somewhere for him to arrive.
