As Kenshiro stands alone, he can hear chanting. People are chanting Raoh's name, as the rivers of the land run red, signaling his return.

Many villagers have gathered together, as a man called Goximu reveals a medallion which Raoh gave to him. He says it represents a promise by their savior. Years a go, when the fighting in Shura began to start, Goximu risked his life and went across the sea to where Raoh was. He told him what was going on in his homeland.

Raoh said that as soon as he has conquered this place, he would go to Shura next. He gave Goximu the medallion and said that Shura was his homeland, and that he would return there one day. Back in the present, the villagers believe that day has come, and are determined to make a stand and help Raoh fight the Shura.

Back in the present most of the Shura aren't quite as keen on Raoh returning. Many of them believe that Raoh, the supposed savior, will come and kill them all. Two Shura decide they want to leave the land and ride away in a jeep, only to stop in front of Raoh himself! Only they then realise that it isn't Raoh, it's Lord Buron.

Buron kills one of them and tells everyone that the man who came to their land isn't Raoh, he is someone called Kenshiro. The Shura are relieved but Buron is angry, they shouldn't have tried to run away or fear Raoh.

Buron throws out a large boomerang, which decapitates several Shura.

Later on that night Goximu and some villagers get together and attack a Shura fortress. They quickly kill all the Shura around and inside find many children who were being trained to become warriors.

But then disaster strikes: Buron arrives with his troops to end their attack. He tells the villagers that Raoh is dead and that the man who came to Shura is a man called Kenshiro. The villagers are in shock that their savior is already dead, but they then get told that Buron will kill them all for rebelling.

Meanwhile Kenshiro stands alone in the mountains and looks up into the night sky. He can see the seven Hokuto stars. He begins to think about what has happened on this land and we all know what the means: clips! Remember when Kenshiro crossed the sea? Yes.

Not much later Ken arrived on Shura and found out that his friend Falco had been badly beaten up. Falco said he was a warrior and that even though he was still injured from his previous battle with Kenshiro, he still came to the land to try and save Lin. Ken then thinks about Hokuto Ryuuken -a style that shares the Hokuto name. He has met one master of this style, Han. But there are still two others he has yet to meet: Hyo and Kaioh.

There is also a fourth, younger and less experienced Hokuto Ryuuken master: Shachi. Shachi wants to rule the land of Shura and has abandoned his father, Akashachi. Akashachi meanwhile waits for his son to return on his pirate ship. Remember when Shachi first appeared? Yes.

Shachi had taken Lin as he needed to use her as bait to get Kenshiro to fight his enemies. Shachi used his Hokuto Ryuuken to kill anyone who got in his way. Meanwhile his girlfriend, Leia, taught the young children who had yet to start the Shura warrior training things like love, which was strictly forbidden in the land. She met Kenshiro and told him about Hokuto Ryuuken and how she wanted him to kill Shachi. She believes that Shachi has turned evil ever since he mastered the art and has given up hope of ever having him back, but Kenshiro tells her otherwise. Yes.

Remember when Jukei, another master of Hokuto Ryuuken who taught Kaioh, Hyo, Han and Shachi, remembered about how he sent the young Raoh, Toki and Kenshiro away to learn Hokuto Shinken? At that time the land of Shura was being destroyed by an army and Jukei wanted to have some powerful warriors to protect it. As he sent them away he hoped they would return some day. Meanwhile Kenshiro encountered the third Rasho of the land of Shura: Han.

Kenshiro fought Han and defeated him after a long battle. Before he fell to his death in the red river below, Han told Kenshiro that he will never be able to defeat the second Rasho of Shura: Hyo. Nobody can beat him except Raoh, and he is dead now. Yes.

Back in the present, Kenshiro thinks about Hyo and how he can supposedly not defeat him as he isn't Raoh. He then sees a building in the distance with smoke pouring out of it and he decides to go and take a closer look. Inside the building he finds a lot of dead bodies.

Ken finds Goximu barely alive but all he says is that his savior, Lord Raoh, failed to come and help them. Buron then reveals himself and says that he killed all of the villagers, and that he will kill Kenshiro too. If he does that, he's sure to become a Rasho. He also thinks the villagers were idiots for believing in a savior and crushes the medallion that Goximu had before tossing it aside.

Buron fights Ken but does terribly, firstly getting his boomerang thrown back into his head. He then draws his swords and attacks, but Ken hits a pressure point his his head which makes his arms move without him being able to control them.

He stabs through his own skull and then explodes completely. The rest of his men run away in fear as Kenshiro picks up the medallion and thinks that now he is on this land, there is no turning back for him.
