Two of the pirates who jumped ship earlier return and try to convince Captain Akashachi to get himself and the ship out of here. The Shura may come and kill him if he doesn't! But he says he isn't going anywhere, not until Kenshiro returns either with his son or with news on the fate of his son. He promised Kenshiro that he wouldn't leave, and he intends to stay near the land of Shura.

Meanwhile Shachi and Lin are heading towards where Han is. In the distance, Shachi points out Han's fortress and says that Lin will have to be the bait to lure Kenshiro here. She doesn't seem to care about being used and says that Ken will rescue her and defeat Han. Shachi sees that she has no fear, but also sees a sadness in her eyes. Maybe Kenshiro cannot leave this girl alone. He used to be like that one time, too...

Several years a go, Shachi's father invaded the land of Shura with 100 pirates, but they were all defeated. During the attack, Shachi was taken away and injured, but some good people helped him to recover. During his time on the land of Shura, Shachi become friends with a girl called Leia and fell in love with her. But Shachi also learnt that his father was still alive and he wanted to see him again. A small boat was constructed for him and Shachi thanked his new friends for their help. He tells them that he hasn't told Leia because he didn't want her to know he must leave, only then he found out that she was the one who built the boat! Shachi started to set sail...

...but as he left he saw Leia waving at him. She then turned around and started to run away whilst crying, as she knew that on this island, she would be forced to marry a Shura. If she refused, she would be executed. But then she heard some splashing in the water and turned around again to see Shachi. He had come back for her. Shachi thought about his father and how sorry he was, but he couldn't return to him now. He didn't want to leave Leia behind.

Back in the present, Shachi and Lin head in towards Han's fortress. Inside the fortress, Han is playing a game of chess when a woman in red comes in and brings her master a drink. He is about to take a sip but then...

...he decides to give some to his dog instead. The dog dies almost immediately, meaning the drink had poison in it! Several boro surround the woman, but Han tells them to leave her, as he then has the rest of the drink anyway.

He isn't effected by the poison at all and tells his would be assassin that he has no idea who sent her, but she will be held here for the rest of her life. So she should go and get him another drink. As she leaves, Shachi and Lin arrive. Shachi is disguised as a boro again and tells Han that he has a very pretty girl here for him. When Han looks at Lin, he just starts to laugh.

Elsewhere Kenshiro is on the way to where Han is meant to be, and occasionally encounters Shura. He runs into one loud-mouthed Shura in a jeep who tells him to stop, but he ignores him. The Shura tries to run Ken over, but Ken gets out of the way and the Shura crashes his vehicle.

The Shura survives and yells at Ken, saying that he is in charge of this area. Ken wants to know where Han's fortress is, but the Shura says he doesn't know and he wouldn't tell him even if he did. He then draws his swords out and attacks, but Ken beats him effortlessly.

Ken has hit a pressure point on the Shura which makes him point out the direction he needs to go. As Ken starts to walk towards Han's castle, the Shura explodes.

Meanwhile Han seems to have lost interest in Lin and continues to play his game of chess, but then without warning he picks up two of the chess pieces and throws them at Shachi. Shachi catches them, as Han says that it was clever of him to disguise himself as a boro.

Shachi throws the chess pieces back at him, but they are destroyed by Han just before they hit. Han recognized the technique Shachi used to catch them -it was Souhai Gyakusou (Twin Straight Reverse Bury) and he wants to know where Shachi learned it, as it was a Hokuto Ryuuken technique. Shachi reveals himself and says he is here to take Han's head! He jumps up into the air and unleashes a barrage of projectiles.

These don't seem to do anything though, as Han just waits where he is. Shachi goes straight towards him and does a punch, but he seems to pass right through him!

Han can move that fast that as Shachi attacked, he made his own move. Shachi suddenly recoils from Han's strikes, which have hit his chest several times. He rolls around on the floor, as Han thinks it is over and says he was nothing.

However, Shachi then gets back up, revealing he survived by having a now heavily dented piece of armor under his shirt. Meanwhile Kenshiro enters Han's fortress and kills any Shura who attack him. Han says that his fists are a gale, and are so fast that nobody has even seen the shadows of them.

Shachi tells him that that sounds dangerous and wants to sacrifice Lin in order to see the shadows, so he pushes her into Han's arms and tells him to take care of her for a while. He then runs off as Han wonders what this could all mean. Lin says it means that Han will be defeated soon enough. Han laughs and says that he's never lost, but he is interested in her, even if all she does it talk complete nonsense. He's never seen a girl with such sharp eyes before.

But then another voice says that Lin speaks the truth. Han sees that someone is in his chair and that someone is Kenshiro. Ken moves a piece on the chessboard to put the game into checkmate, and tells Han he now has no choice but to die. Meanwhile Shachi is running through Han's castle...

...when he sees a lot of dead Shura and realises that Kenshiro must be here already. He also sees one Shura who is still alive but acts weirdly, not even acknowledging him and instead walking off saying he must report to Lord Han. Kenshiro tells Lin that he has come here for her, but Han prevents Lin from going to Ken just yet. It he wants the girl, Kenshiro will have to go through him first. He is impressed with Kenshiro already, as he managed to get into his fortress without him even noticing, so he must be strong.

The Shura then walks in and reports that there is some kind of strange shadow in the fortress which moves very quickly. Han asks him what is wrong with his face and the Shura sees that his head is bulging up, before he explodes. Han realises that he died via a Hokuto technique! Kenshiro tells him that he is a master of Hokuto Shinken. Han seems shocked at this and then tells Ken that his style shares the Hokuto name.

Han is happy as for a change, he won't be bored. He opens up the door and invites Kenshiro out to his main arena. Shachi appears again and quickly takes out Lin's two guards.

Lin tells him she knew Ken would turn up, and then looks back at him and Han. Shachi notices how she seems to be shaking just from watching Ken, but then they both notice that it has started to snow. Shachi says that when it snows in the land of Shura, the white flakes will change into a bloody red due to the fighting, much like how he has changed.

Han says the snow calls out for Ken's blood, and makes the first move. He dashes towards Ken before jumping up and doing a flaming, flying kick.

At first nothing seems to happen but Ken reels back, he's been hit! Han says that it was his Hokuto Ryuuken technique, Shikka Koujin (Rapid God Position) that did the damage. He wonders if Kenshiro can even keep up with how fast he moves and decides that he probably isn't even worth fighting. During his smack-talk he raises his had to point, but he sees that his fist is dripping with blood. Whilst he hit Kenshiro, Kenshiro managed to hit him without him even realising!

Kenshiro rips off his shirt, but Han's surprise soon turns to joy: he finally has a strong opponent to fight. He believes he is equal in skill with Kenshiro, but he is determined that this fight will not end in a draw!
