With Stiff dead, Kyle is left on top of the hotel with the Bible. He heads back to Barfly, where he sees Vanessa and her brother. He thinks that Vanessa's bro should be out beating up a pimp, but he says that when his sister asks for help, he doesn't say no. Even if it involves having to help Kyle.

Sgt. Sims is a deep cover cop. The man's seen the most twisted shit Metro City has to offer and he can still sleep at night. You gotta be tough as nails to do somethin' like that. But don't get me wrong. Sims's is a good cop... it's just that I never met one I've liked. Oh... and he's Vanessa's brother.

Kyle asks why Sims thinks he needs to help. Sims takes one look at Kyle, and the blood on his shirt, to know something is up. He knows Cody is missing. He also mentions that he knows Cody has been participating in pit fights in Little Italy. He tells Kyle a new drug has entered Metro City, and Little Italy is where it came from. Sims then says he'll keep an eye out for Cody, but for now Kyle needs to stay away from Little Italy.

As Sims leaves, Vanessa opens up the Bible, and a glowing veil falls out of it. Kyle wonders what it is, but then Vanessa finds a map, which shows where Vito is in Little Italy. Kyle now knows where he has to go, and hopefully put an end to all of this.

When the cutscene ends, you'll be in Kyle's apartment. There isn't much of interest inside it, so just pick up the items if you need them, and then leave. Kyle will get a call from Vanessa, telling him that the police blockade of Little Italy is gone. Head towards Metro Diner -the road to Little Italy is near to it.

As soon as you step into Little Italy you'll be attacked by a couple of guys, including one armed with a pistol. The other gang members dotted around here are the same ones you've seen before. The place you need to get to is a large restaurant building located near an exit leading to the pier district.

Kyle bursts through the door and is searched by two guards. They tell him that Mister V doesn't take any visitors, but Vito then tells them to give Kyle some air. Kyle says he's looking for his brother, Cody Travers -has Vito seen him? When Vito realizes Kyle has busted in here just to ask that, he orders his guards to have him removed from the building.

You'll then have to fight Vito's goons. Most of them are average fighters who aren't that much trouble, but towards the end several chefs will run on and are a bit more dangerous. They are armed with knives, and have a move where they can pin you down and slice you up. After you have beaten up enough of Vito's men, Vito calls out and tells everyone to stop.

The guy with the table manners is Vito Bracca... the boss of the bosses here in Little Italy. He's old school. Still gives a shit about things like honor and respect...but he'll crack your head open with a baseball bat if you step out of line. Vito only fears two things: God... and runnin' out of linguini.

Kyle asks about Cody, and if he fought for him, but Vito says that maybe Cody did, but maybe he didn't. He wonders if Kyle is a cop, but he says he isn't, he's Cody's brother. Vito says he and his boys all know about family, but he still refuses to help Kyle. Kyle offers Vito a deal: he will fight for him in his club. Vito wonders why he should do him a favor, so Kyle mentions that the last guy who tried to stop him from finding his brother got thrown off a building. Vito says that he should have introduced himself as the man who iced Stiff, as he would have gotten some gratitude. But he will have to earn his respect now. He has his fighters take a little "interview" first, and Kyle is led towards a ring.

You'll have to fight a guy called Ghost, who is a master of Muay Thai. Ghost can throw a few punches, but one of his best attacks is a powerful kick you can't block. Blocking isn't a great idea when fighting Ghost, as when you do he'll usually grab and start kneeing you. He will also sometimes use a dashing technique to avoid attacks made against him, much like what Stiff could do. The best strategy is to just get in, land a combo, and get out again. As Ghost gets up and walks towards you, try and start another combo.

After the fight, Kyle tells Vito that Ghost was nothing, and he'd better be ready to answer some questions. Vito is concerned about Kyle's disrespect, and wants him kicked out. His men are a little wary of Kyle's strength, so Kyle walks up and grabs Vito, demanding him to reveal where Cody is. Just then someone suddenly grabs Kyle and puts a knife to his neck!

The psycho with the knife is Dino, better known as "Blades". He's your typical boy next door. You know... the kind you always hear about when they find the bodies of 27 old ladies stuffed in the floorboards. He's real tight with Vito. Vito don't put a hit out on a man... unless it's Dino's blade that's stickin' outta his back.

Blades wants to kill Kyle, but Vito says they have enough heat on them already. He tells Blades to go and throw Kyle out to whatever rock he crawled out from. Blades does just that, throwing him out of a van outside his apartment. The van then speeds off, and Kyle has a smoke whilst saying that those guys are a bunch of assholes.

Kyle then rings Vanessa, saying he's basically back to square one. Vanessa has an idea, although she doesn't think Kyle will like it: Madam Celeste, a fortune teller. Kyle is skeptical but Vanessa says it can't hurt, and he's got nothing else to go on. Kyle decides to go to Madam Celeste. Her place is next to the porn theater.

When you see Celeste, go and have a talk with her. She'll get you to play a card game. The idea is to keep matching up two of the same card, until you complete the set. You can make a few mistakes, make too many and you'll have to start over again from scratch. When you match up all of the cards, the game will end.

Win the game and Celeste will give you a tip -maybe Kyle will find something in his brother's apartment? She even has the key! Leave her place and head back to Cody's apartment. It's located near the Metro Diner.

There isn't much of interest inside Cody's apartment, other than a burger to take if you need some extra health, and some cash on the floor. Head into the bedroom and check the answering machine. Kyle will start listening to the messages whilst looking through a small box of stuff. Most of the message are from Kyle himself, asking Cody to ring him back.

Kyle finds a torn picture, featuring some large man standing next to Cody. "Pier 15" is written on the back of it. Just then another message starts to play off the answering machine, from a guy called Haggar. Haggar asks Cody to call him back as he wants to get together for a drink. Kyle has heard of Haggar -maybe he can help him!

Kyle heads back to the pier district and rings 2-Ill. He asks him where pier 15 is, and finds out from him that he just needs to turn right out of the subway, and look for the large fence. 2-Ill says he'll head down to the pier district himself, just in case Kyle needs him. When you regain control of Kyle, head to the right to find a small gang to beat up. When they are defeated, head a little more to the right to find the entrance of Haggar's place.

Before entering Haggar's place you may want to head back in to the town and have a look around, as there are a couple of new side missions you can do if you want to make a quick buck. One of them involves chasing after a guy, who will lead you around part of the district. You'll eventually arrive in a warehouse, where a large gang of punks needs beating up. Several of them have knives and baseball bats, so be careful.

Another side mission involves helping out some cops. One of them will need escorting to a payphone, so he can call for some backup. The cop will use a pistol to defend himself with, but he can't take too many hits. There are two points where gangs will attack you -the first gang doesn't have many members, but the second one has several. Try to stop them from surrounding the cop and make use of the baseball bats for some crowd control.

Once you're ready, head back to "Mike's Maritime Maintenance" and go inside. You'll have to work your way through this place, smashing boxes apart and fighting the punks who occasionally appear.

Early on in this stage you will have to make a bridge drop down, which involves doing another one of those "light the 9 buttons" puzzles. When the bridge does drop, head down it and be ready to run, as some goons will keep throwing bombs down there. Run to the other side and head up the ramp to encounter more punks.

Eventually you'll reach a large area where many punks will run in. But help is at hand as Mike Haggar appears! He says these punks will learn who is the boss round here, and will help you out in fighting everyone.

Several waves of enemies will come on here. Some of the punks have bats and knives, and there is a shotgun you can find on the floor. After the punks have been beaten, Haggar warns Kyle to keep the bullshit out of his neighborhood, or next time he'll be sticking the shiv up his ribs.

Can you believe this guy used to be the mayor of Metro City? Back in the day you did NOT mess with this city without messin' with the MAN. It must have made him sick to see what a shit hole this place has become. But I guess it's nothin' he won't try to fix someday... with his fists.
