Final Fight was released for the Commodore 64 in 1991. Quite why U.S. Gold bothered doing ports for woefully under-equipped systems is something we'll probably be never clear on.

To its credit, it does have all of the levels and playable characters, and even has a two player mode. But the main problem is that the port is very difficult. The collision detection is bad, so even though it looks like you are hitting an enemy, often nothing happens and you'll take hits instead. This is one of the worst versions of Final Fight ever, probably almost as bad as the Spectrum version.
